Good mouse pad, Great theme...
My old mouse pad was 18 years old, and I decided it was time for a new one. I purchased this mouse pad because of the SWTOR tie-in not expecting any difference in terms of actual performance. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that it was well built, and provided a noticeable improvement in the precision with which I could position the mouse cursor on the screen. The base is constructed of a sturdy plastic backed with rubber. This base does not move even under heavy use. The mousing surface is easily removed by popping it out from the back through a centrally located hexagonal hole. Some reviewers have stated that the two sides have different levels of texturing, but I have found this not to be the case. The Republic logo appears on one side, and the Empire logo appears on the other side. The pop-out panel appears to be made of some kind of sturdy, almost glass-like, polymer edged in the same sturdy plastic that makes up the base. I expect it will be around long after they've shut down the servers for the game. The only thing that keeps this mouse pad from receiving a higher mark is the price. If you are looking for a high end product expect to pay for it. At least with this one you get what you pay for.

Not a rip-off.
Yeah, I know what you're thinking: THAT much for a mouse pad?I haven't regretted paying for it. I also bought the SWTOR edition Razer Naga, and the difference in the movement of the mouse is like night and day, and it keeps the mouse feet in good condition. I noticed that they will wear out on a rougher surface. I also like the fact that this is a completely rigid surface and not one of those rubbery, flaccid mats. I never liked those things. It's maybe a bit overpriced, but the SWTOR editions are "collector's" items. I think they look pretty snazzy, but that's just me.

It's a mouse "board"
I purchased this to go along side of my Razer Star Wars KoTR MMO mouse, and while the surface is fine, it tends to collect just about anything, from moisture to crumbs, so if you're an "average gamer" and happen to occasionally have a snack or drink while playing, don't let them on to this mat.

Great mousepad.
This mousepad was purchased for two reasons. The first is simply because its Star Wars and I love everything Star Wars. But I was happy to find a mousepad that exceeded my expectations as well. Aesthetically it is very nice to look at. The mousepad is sleek and looks really cool. I've paired it with a white Logitech a mouse and they look great together. It is nice and long which is great for me when I'm gaming because I tend to swing wide with my mouse. The side bumpers are nice to. They let you know you are about to fall off but do not get in your way.The mousepad was well worth the price for me because its Star Wars but also because the mousepad was visually pleasing and useful given its size. Additionally, the option to flip it to either faction is pretty cool too. Comes with a couple stickers too if you want to tag something else with a Star Wars sticker.Overall I gave it a five because its functionality is great, it's visually pleasing to look at, the cost was great here on Amazon and I was very happy with it. I have been using it for about a month and a half and could not be happier with my choice.

Its a Star Wars mouse pad
Hard surface mouse pad, you can flip it over for Empire or Rebel insignia. Mouse works just fine on it. Unfortunately it does seem to get dirty, but you can just wash this off in the sink and it will look as good as new again.

no0t that impressive
I use it as a plate....really....it's too slipery for the mouse....I had to buy a separate mouse pad, this just looks pretty but not really a "functional" item

I. Am. LOVING THIS!!!
I'll have to say, this is an expensive little product. Switching up from a Thermaltake mouse and Armageddon mousepad I've spent quite abit of cash, and while the Razer Star Wars mouse affords me to go wireless, I was expecting somewhat of a performance drop. And I did experience a performance drop, at first at least, while using the Armageddon Ithaca fabric pad. But having used this Star Wars mouse pad for a day, I'll have to say my mouse controls heavenly! In short, Razer mice love hard mouse pads, you're shortchanging yourself if you go with fabric. Suits my overall SWTOR theme too! Now if only the pad could light up as well...

Great mouse mat
Received it yesterday, this mat let my razer naga glide like nothing else I tried, the tracking is pixel-perfect and overall is just a pleasure to use. It's quite large - I consider this a plus - and looks great.Best mouse mat I've ever used so far.

This was a gift for step-son
I don't have anything to say about this item, however, the person I bought it for says it is an AWESOME mouse pad/mat. He has a RAT 7 mouse on it and says there is nothing he's tried before that could compare. He is VERY VERY happy with it

Best mouse pad / mat ever
Hands down, the best mouse pad that I ever owned in twenty something years! Although I wish the non-slip base was a bit stable for my pressure, but it may very well be a manufacturing defect on this specific one. Not a big deal though. Worth's every penny!
