Lots of adapter tips, but thin and weak cord
It works as advertised: converts USA style AC power (120V, 60Hz) from a 2-prong or 3-prong outlet into DC power (12V, 1.5A) for various devices. It even comes with a variety of interchangeable adapter tips that fit most of the popular sizes/styles and even a few of the less popular ones. So if you're not sure what type of plug tip your device needs, or if you want a plug that can be used on several different devices, this one will probably have the tip you need. Just be sure to double check the DC power requirements of your device first! This is 12 Volts at 1.5 Amps regardless of the adapter tip you choose. The cord on this one is industry standard, which means it's not super delicate but also not very good. Prone to kinks and knots if you move it around a lot, just like 90% of the other power adapters on the market. These kinks can cause the copper wire to break, rendering the device useless and/or starting an electrical fire. But as long as you treat the wire WITH CARE and avoid getting it kinked up (particularly at the point where the wire connects to the power-pack) you shouldn't have any problems with it. So don't pinch your wire when you roll it up for storage, don't wrap it with a rubber band - use a bread-tie or Velcro cable tie instead, and don't let it get twisted or knotted around itself. Treat it gently and it will work for a few years; treat it wrong and it will break probably in just a few weeks.

Great for a Thrift Store Hunter like Me
Being a thrift store shopper, i always found some electronics jems at low prices. You name it i got it all i guess; from TV, cassettes, remotes, game consoles, dvd players. But the problems i always encounter is, mostly don't have their respective power supply which is a pain to find in any thrift store. Just recently, i found a good portable dvd player (5.5 x 1.7 mm tip) still inside its box and seems lightly used to me but it doesn't have the power supply. I try to find it on all thrift store in town but no luck, so as usual amazon to the rescue and i come across to this. So far it work as it supposed to do, i can now use my portable player everywhere i want. Bonus by the way, i was able to charge my portable keyboard with it too. I just wish they have an option to adjust the voltage and amps respectively so that more gadgets can be used with this. Overall i'm happy with it.

Works great as replacement for small TV
The power supply seems robust and drives our small TV with USB outputs just fine. It arrived quickly, and the variety of adapters assured it would work with any size connector.

Great PSU
My router's PSU sustained gradual failure with halved speed, I always assumed it was the ISP,though the PSU was somewhat hot from day one.Roll forward to two weeks ago, when the PSU died.I ordered this supply and low and behold, it runs almost cold and now the router is happy withspeeds at or above advertised.Very happy with this product.

Works, but needs a longer cord.
I needed a replacement power adapter for an post-surgical ice pump, after our puppy decided the cord on the previous adapter was a good teething toy. This works very well as a replacement, but the cord really needs to be twice as long to be practical for many situations. Iโve had to relocate the ice pump closer to the outlet and itโs now blocking access to part of our living room. The vendor could keep the current cord and include (or offer separately) an extension cord which fits the current cord connector and all of the power tips.

OH look no confusing plugs
I bought two of these since I have a habit for losing or confuse power supplies. Pros: no confusing plug - plug dictate the power output. Cons: no ability set the voltage or amps. Using one of these on a powered usb hub. The other is a KVM switch. Both have been running with no problems. Note with the plugs attached the connector does get a little long. I would recommend this anyone of my friend or family.
