Helped bridge the gap
The text book itself went from easiest to hardest on questions, so the solutions manual helped bridge the gap on items I didn't understand. Despite having the "step-by-step" solutions, there were times when it was hard to determine why or how it went from one step to the next. If it were more than just solutions and minimal "show your work" I would've given it 5 stars.

This goes with my other Cohen books
I have come to love Cohen's treatments of mathematics over the years. He, Bittinger, Giblisco, and Gardner really get my mental juices going. I have learning disabilities and need lots of different viewpoints on academic dry stuff---so I can play and get a hands on feel for a vibrant subject that has been repeatedly killed by teachers who insist on dry is better. I hate that! ! ! So see more Cohen, Bittinger, Giblisco, and Gardner.
