This is a great knife fur the money, it is a littlee small cause it is a neck knife. It cuts its sharp and it only cost a couple bucks so buy a few of them and after you use it for whatever you need to use a knife with you can sharpen it, if you know how to sharpen knives.. How any one can give this knife a bad review is beyond me. You get what you pay for, this is a great knife to use for evey thing so you don't destroy your good knives its that simple.. So with that in mind like I said its a neck knife its a little small, its not the sharpest but it cuts.. So remember if you want better then go pay more for one with better steel bigger handle to fit your hands, and stop complaining about a $10 kneck knife that does what it says....

For ten bucks it’s well worth it. It has a nice sturdy feel to it because of the full tang, so I wouldn’t expect it to snap in half that easily if put to serious use. Handle feels very ergonomic. The sheath retention is excellent; however, deployment is not as easy as some other knives. You can pull it straight out but you have to put a lot of force on it to do it that way. A better way is too put your thumb on the sheath and your other fingers on the handle and click it back toward your body, then pull it out. The blade is short but that’s okay as this kind of knife is a last ditch self defense tool anyway. Not very sharp out of the box but that’s an easy fix. This would make a great little companion when fishing as well. I liked it so much I gave it to my friend, who also loved it. I plan on getting another one for myself.

great little boot knife! just ditch the chain and the sheath has holes big enough for velcro. good retention and the blade has a nice edge.

I've had Sheffield pocket knives before, always the same simple model, I've bought three of those because I lost one, kept one in the car, and another one on me. I had experience with the brand, no more than $10 bucks each, but they were great little pocket knives for the price. I love my Spyderco, Mora, and other nicer knives but, for what I wanted (opening packages mostly) these were perfect. When I started looking for a neck knife, I came across this one and decided to buy it, I don't regret it! The size, the fact that it is full tang and the sheath are excellent features! I was not crazy about the chain but I gutted a piece of paracord and threaded the chain through it (if you have ever worn dog tags-you'll probably do the same) and voila!

Love the knife, love the feel in the hand. Good an sharp, will see how well it hold an edge over time. The sheath holds the knife very firmly. If you want to draw it one handed, you have to yank HARD. If you do that, the ball chain necklace will break. These types of necklaces are designed that way for safety reasons. Mine didn't make it through my first hike. I replaced the chain with 550 cord as I know I wont be able to break THAT.

This little knife is perfect. I don't know why so many people complain about the chain. It works for me great. Easy to sharpen and comes pretty sharp out of box. Screw the crkt minimalist when this is for sale fore 10 bucks. I feel like youtube reviewers are keeping people from buying knives like this. But its full tang and quality.

This knife is great for its intended purpose. That is to quickly employ it to get an attacker to withdraw to a safe distance for you to employ a more effective weapon (pistol, pepper spray, Mossberg, etc).It stays solidly in the plastic sheath and pulls free when needed. The handle fits the first three fingers of a normal S/M hand. The blade is wide enough that your pinky or index finger (depending on grip) will not slide into the blade as you thrust the knife into the target.I can't speak for the quality of steel. But this knife is not meant for repeated use. If you are using this for everyday tasks, I can think of a lot better knives to carry.

This little knife is great!Very strong, plenty thick. Solid, comfortable grip, easy to use. Nice, secure sheath.Came sharp enough, could cut paper, but not that well. However, it stropped up nicely.There are a bunch of other neck knives that are a lot more money, but I'm pretty sure they are not that much better than this little guy right here. Great deal.

Es un cuchillo agradable, se siente firme en la mano, desde luego que la empuñadura es reducida pero el término para sujetar con correa, ofrece la oportunidad de apoyar el pulgar. El estriado del plástico es funcional, su portabilidad es innegable, no pesa demasiado, la sujeción en su funda es muy firme.La cadena que incluye es sumamente endeble y debe ser sustituido, pero resulta un detalle.Muy recomendable.

Es de buena calidad a un excelente precio, práctico con buen filo, el mango solo en la última parte como que no acomoda muy bien en la mano por el orificio que tiene para una cuerda la funda de buena calidad tanto en echura como material, el tamaño es práctico y funcional obvio para las tareas de acuerdo al tamaño

Lo mejor en este neck knive es su relación calidad precio.Tiene buen diseñoFacil de afilar y con una funda de plastico aceptableFuerte competidor de otros cuchillos de este tipo .

Lo compré para mí tío que sale a pescar y le encantó, no viene afilado, pero es cómodo y pequeño.

Me gustó su precio, calidad y diseño está muy bueno trae un buen filo y sus materiales sin de buena calidad.Muy conforme y lo recomiendo.
