I had a problem not having an anchor light on when I was not onboard. This solar powered light resolved my problem. It is activated at sundown and is quite visible. The flashing strobe attacts the attention of anyone approaching the anchored vessel. Despite it's low price the quality is extremely good. Since it's solar power it does not need batteries and has been through several squalls, and it still functions perfectly.

This light beacon works great! It looks awesome on my windmill. The light it puts out is not overwhelming but is just enough to know something is there in the dark. Perfect choice for my windmill project.

takes mere seconds in the sun or with concentrated artificial light (e.g. flashlight, heat lamp) to charge this and with a full charge, the light will run for days. I've had this operational for over a month now and through all weather conditions it has not failed to run through every single night, all night long, and very consistently providing a strong output.. if we could get this kind of charging and battery capacity into "most" devices, the consumer marketplace would be significantly thrilled with these types of products across the board.

This works great but does not have a switch to turn it off. Was going to use on coneswhich it fits but if I don't make sure it charges it's totally dead when I need it. Going to send back.

I bought 6 amber lights and 2 red lights to put on top of traffic cones in a security checkpoint. They are bright, visible, and durable. I was skeptical when I first received them, because the post is skinnier than the hole in the traffic cones. Although the product is lightweight, it's stayed in place through 60mph winds. I will purchase more in the future if I need to add more.

Set 2 lights up around noon on a very cloudy overcast day...I didn't expect much because most of the sunlight they were getting to charge was ambient...Got up to see if the lights were working around 4a.m...Both lights were blinking very brightly...I can't wait to see what a regular sunny day will do...I will order more as needed...I i said they seem to work really well with only a minimal amount of daylight to charge them.

Not impressed with the quality of this item for the price. The product box was a mess inside the shipping bag and the item was damaged.

I purchased this to replace and cone light that had excessive battery drain. This light works as advertised once set on the cone it recharges the built in battery by sun light. It has a sun sensor switch that turns "OFF" in day light and "ON" at dark. It is bright enough to see with ease. I will probably be purchasing more. The reason for the 5 star rating is: works as advertised. Good design.
