No crimping allowed
I love the quality of the footage and the stealthy design. When I attempted to connect/crimp the fuse taps, I was not able to. I don’t know how much of a difference it makes but in all of the pictures (YouTube unboxing videos and the Amazon description), the crimping ends on the fuse taps are blue; the fuse taps that came in my kit has clear flexible plastic/rubbery crimp ends. I was not able to crimp the fuse taps and the battery/acc wires. I had to strip the wire covers and solder the wires...something I really did not sign up for.Update: I have used this camera since my initial review. It has drained my battery twice. I will disconnect it. I originally gave five stars but now I will have to give two stars.

Great Picture! Tips for the WiFi and app connection
Everything is going you need. I like that it comes with 3 different size fuse adapters. My 2013 F150 has the micro fuse size. However, the micro fuse adapter would not fit because the fuse box has a raised edge around each of the fuse sockets. I had to use the mini fuse adapter to have enough clearance to insert it in the socket. Not a big deal just had to use mini fuses. Glad I had some extra laying around 😉. The instructions for the hardwire were not in the bag but there are videos on YouTube that explains it pretty well. The Wi-Fi and the app works as long as you shut off the 4G wireless connection. The easiest way to do it is to put your phone in "airplane mode" and then switch to the camera's WiFi. I'm not sure if there is a fix for that or not. I don't know if that is a camera thing or a Samsung Galaxy note 9 thing. It is annoying and somehow I have to explain it to my wife how to perform the procedure. I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for that. Regarding the Wi-Fi I was able to view the camera's video from inside my house. The picture quality is great even at night. I bought 2 of them. One for each car. For installation videos and a review of the camera go-to to DASHOTO. Very informative and clear.Update: if the camera is not responding, unplug it and turn WiFi off. You can enable WiFi to sync up with your phone. However, afterwards disable Wi-Fi again. With WiFi enabled, the camera's buttons do not function by default. If you enable WiFi in the settings menu instead of holding the button, a blue screen pops up for a split second informing me about only being controlled by the WiFi connection to the phone.

It is OK
This camera is OK, but far from being very god.VIOFO Customer service it pretty god and they reply quickly, altough I do have some issues. I might be wrong on my problems/statements, but so far I was not able to find answers or resolve them.- mobile App will not operate on the phone while camera is recording- no way to save video to the phone- rear cam calbe at least 1foot to short- I wish both ends of the cable were 90 degre plugs (which saves space and loows the Cam to mount as high as possible)- I wish there is a coin notch on the side to allow camera rotation- pushing SD card sometimes releases cam from the mount- front mount became flimsy and loose after few installs- I understand instruction is short and minimal but there should be some more detailed manual on-line. Specially about using features- I wish there is some indicator that the cam is turned on (when it goes to sleep)My main concern is using parking mode. So far it is not working as expected for me but perhaps I'm doing something wrong)...

Not too confident in purchasing another
Having previously owned the viofo a119s dashcam for 3+ years in 110F+ temps i had no doubts in buying the a129 duo. Sadly this seems to be a hit and miss product. Reading on dashcam forums people seem to have a good amount of trouble with this camera. While most issues can be attributed to a faulty SD card, there is still a good amount of people who have other issues with this camera.Parking Mode:One of the biggest features of this camera is the new parking mode. There is lots of complaints on the forums about how unreliable the parking mode is, that a good percentage of users just leave it off- despite having purchased the camera for this reason. While viofo is steadily rolling out firmware updates, i dont think people should have to sit through trouble when the product has already been released.WiFi:The other new feature is the wifi. While it too is a great feature there is still a lot of polishing needed. The app is clunky and at times unresponsive. Most of the features in the app seem straightforward but getting the camera to connect in the first place needs to be more intuitive. While this too can be and is being improved, again i think it should have been polished from the start. Another downfall to the wifi feature is that it has to be OFF the majority of the time or else video quality suffers.Video quality:Seemed okay for the most part, everything was legible and in focus. 1080p is nothing out of this world but definetley enough to keep you covered. (I can not comment on rear camera)Rear camera:Sadly i never got around to reviewing the rear portion of the camera despite having purchased this kit BECAUSE of the rear camera (DUO). My unit either had a faulty front/rear camera or a bad cable. I returned it. Users also complain about the camera cable being rather large and difficult to tuck in.Final Thoughts:The overall complaints i have seen around the web and the issue with my rear camera not even being detected led me to return my purchase and rate it at 2 stars. The 2 stars is largely because of the faulty rear camera but not also attributed to the overall build of the a129 pro. While Viofo is great at resolving the issues and half of this stuff can problably be worked out with firmware updates, I am not confident in running this camera at this time. To be confident in this camera means the camera has to be reliable. The issues stemming from failed recordings and SD cards need to be resolved by VIOFO. They either need to sell their own (which they do) SD cards that will guarantee recordings or certify other brand/model SD cards for use with their cameras. Viofo is great at listening to their consumers and innovating but this purchase reminded me too much of the shortcomings of the A119s v1.

Everything included.
Order arrived earlier than expected. I haven't installed yet but so far 5 stars for packaging and items included. It does include the new 3-wire parking hardwire kit and CPL lens. It also includes two sets of add-a-fuse, so it works with the 3 wires hardwire. Everything needed for install is included and has the name Viofo, so no knockoffs. One of the best packaged deals I've seen for this camera so far. Great job DASHOTO.
