Laptop Replacement Keyboard for Macbook Pro Unibody A1286 Black

I originally spilled liquid on my keyboard and I felt technically savvy enough to be up to the task. Glad I took it on. There are some good youtube videos online demonstrating how to take the keyboard apart. The fix was not difficult so long as organization of the very tiny screws is recorded in some way. The keyboard I received looked to be extracted from another computer, possibly, but was in good to fair condition and certainly in better shape than my current keyboard. I did receive it with some slight damage to the film near the directional arrow section of the keyboard but that is not noticeable when the keyboard is full installed. The keyboard I received did include the power button which also needed replacing. Backlight sheeting is also included. No screws are provided so do not lose your current set. Fit was perfect and after using this product for the least couple of weeks, I've had 0 issues.

The price was right, but the keyboard is obviously a refurb. Some keys came with scratches. I ended up using the backlight from the old keyboard because the power connector was broken on the one this came with. Keys feel different than my old keyboard but at least this one works. Took about 4 hours to install for someone who has never done this before.

One button was broken. The silicon piece was missing which I fixed with part from my old keyboard. Expected to have a 'like new' keyboard that would not require extra work. Good bargain for the money still. Otherwise works fine.

Used but in excellent condition. Worked straight off after I installed it in my MBP 15" laptop.

wrong wiring, did not match up to my mac book pro

Works perfectly. Seems like not a genuine keyboard from Apple, but works just fine. Satisfied with the price and the period of shipping, too. (From Hong Kong to Tokyo, took 4 or 5 days via ship)

The keyboard arrived in a used condition and was an older model from 2008 with the F3 and F4 keys being different than 2012 model. Installation went smoothly without any hiccups and the keyboard fit well. After completing the install and powering on the machine, only a few of the keys worked while the rest were completely nonfunctional including the backlight. I reinstalled the keyboard twice to make sure it wasn't an installation issue with a crimped cable or something not plugged in all the way, but after the second installation it was still in the same condition as before.

Replaced the keyboard of a 2011 macbook pro 15 inch that got wet. Used a youtube video as reference. Was not easy but in the end it worked fine.
