Musguard Back, a removable, rollable bicycle fender

I think these are more of a novelty item after using them. Nice looking product and unique roll up ability but they are quite annoying to install when they are flopping whatever direction they choose. Once I got them both on it made me not want to remove them again, and considering that I ride a steel frame bike and not a "weight weenie" I would have been better off with standard rigid fenders that have more coverage. But if weight or just being different is your motivation then these should be right up your alley.

The concept is great but it doesn't fully work for my bicycle. It was designed to fit through the triangle in the back part of the frame but mine is narrow and angled up. The result is that the fender is pinched more and isn't as stable. It's not a huge problem unless its windy. That being said, I will still continue to use it because it's convenient to carry and does its job.

Works perfectly. My backside is no longer getting wet during rides in the rain.

It did everything it said it would. Easy to manoeuvre.

Does not work well. Do not recommend.

Loved the concept and was very excited for this fender but didn't do the job well enough. My biggest issues with this fender are: -only fits one of my bikes.-fender moves around quite a bit, velcro strap doesn't get tight enough-because it moves around it doesn't consistently keep me dry (live in a very wet place)-After a few months of storing in my bag it only wants to stay rolled up making it difficult to put on easily. Does not want to be flat.-Not as quick and easy as they make it seem. Other fenders out there are quicker and easier just not as foldable.I hope they keep working on and improving this fender. I believe it can be great!As for now I'm going back to a more rigid fender to keep me dry

The Musguard product is great if you have a single speed bike. I ride road bikes and the rear guard doesn't fit either one I own. When I asked the vendor about it, he said he plans to change the website to specifically say it doesn't work on most road bikes. The vendor doesn't pay for postage to return the product to Slovenia, and the cost to return is more than the cost of the product. Total bust for me.
