I love this cute little teapot and I’m so glad I took a chance and bought it! It is small, 700ml which is about 23-24oz. The inner steeper is a made of thick plastic and stainless steel. The white handle and lid are plastic. It claims to be microwave safe, but there are 2 gold emblems on the pot, so I would not use it in the microwave. The lid twists up and down to allow you to remove your tea leaves from the water. At first I thought it was kind of gimmicky. But after using it, I found this feature wonderful as it allows a mess free way to control the strength of your tea. Also, a second pot of tea can be made while using the same tea leaves if you so desire. Another thing I like about this pot is the spout. It pours well without dripping when you stand it back up. The price I paid was fair, but be careful, as I’ve seen the asking price for more than triple of what I paid.

I purchased this as a gift for a special friend. It is exquisite and I shall order again!

This set is quite stunning to look at and very practical, as well. I can enjoy tea while enjoying nature through my window and on my teapot, cup and saucer, at the same time.
