Egg Timer Color Changing Cheeky Chick for Perfect Hard Medium Soft Boiled Eggs Every Time

Very cute, but it doesn’t work at all. I had an Egg Perfect timer for years. Bought this to replace it. The color never changes to indicate cooking temperature.

I was skeptical at first to buy this egg timer because of the reviews, but I saw a youtuber using this egg gadget in a video before and wanted to try it out. I have no idea why others have a problem with it because my eggs turned out perfectly fine!The gadget turns color - from pink to white (see picture). I had no problems with it whatsoever. Just follow the intructions and viola! Perfectly cooked eggs.

Really like this egg timer! The colors aren't as dark as pictured when it comes to the shading for different cooking times. All in all works great!

This timer basically measures a 4-8 minute egg. It's cute as heck but not all that useful. I'd prefer an alarm egg that whistles. This one you have to stare at it to get a reading. My grandkids thought it was cute though.

It is very hard to read. it is very hard to tell when the egg is done unless you want a really hard egg

Works as described. The pink part turns white the longer your water boils. Tried to make medium boiled eggs and successful the first try. Just make sure the ice water bath is ready. Attaching photos to show how the pink part turns white (the egg was removed right after taking the shot).

I wanted this cute little gizmo to work so badly, but alas, it was not to be. It flips over as the water is boiling, and it did not change color at all. Whether or not my eggs are properly hard-boiled remains a elusive mystery. This chick would be cute in an Easter basket, but at the bottom of a boiling pot of eggs, it is just cheap, cheap, cheap.
