Air Compressor Pump Car Tire Inflator 12V DC Digital Auto Portable Air Pump 150PSI

This air compressor is not good for vehicles. It's only good for toys and bicycles.It took 25 mins to inflate a truck tire with 25psi to 40 psi. Then when it was done it the unit was so hot that it I to storage it on concrete so it wouldn't make discolor marks on my carpet.

Not sure if I got a bad unit or this thing is junk, inflated brand new bike tube quick and smooth however, as soon as it hit 25 psi it started chugging and shaking. I checked the hose fittings on both ends and again as soon as it hit 25 psi it started chugging again and took about a minute to go up 1 psi. I checked the set psi and it was set to shut off at 50. Started a return today.

There are no lights, safety features, or other addons that others have. The speed is normal for what you get from an add on compressor, with the quality you would expect at this price point. It comes with a needle and 2 other extra inflate tools. The cord is about 8’. It comes with a warranty, but this is kept in my trunk as a backup for emergencies, so I hopefully I won’t have to use it. This is a no frill basic pump with a LED gauge, and think the price could be a little lower for what it is.

As for pumping up a tire, it mostly seems to work for that as long as you can sit there with your car idle for like 30 minutes. I wouldn't suggest trying to inflate your tire from fully flat, but at long as you have maybe 15psi or more than it will probably work alright... that is if you get one that is not broken. The first one I received had a broken lighter plug, the second one was missing the feet (but was functional otherwise). These aren't the best quality pump, they are cheap as reflected by the price. If you want something far more reliable then by all means spend a bit more and get a nicer one.Additionally the cord is somewhat short, if you have it connected to your battery it won't reach the back tires easy, it MIGHT reach if its plugged in the lighter plug inside the vehicle, might reach.

Pretty reasonably made device with all the features that make sense to have on a tire inflator to keep in the back of one's car. The digital meter is a nice touch and it appears to be within 1-2 lbs of what my tiny analog pressure gauge reads, which is quite close enough. Note the thing measures in increments of 0.5 PSI and appears to (very reasonably) push just a bit more air in after it hits the target value (apparently to account for the squirt of air that always happens when you disconnect a hose) but it *will* stop before it goes another 0.5PSI. Since the pressure hose itself is what's likely to wear out first (it's what killed my previous pump) it's handy that this one detaches on both ends so it's replaceable.

I love this air compressor so much that after I first used it, I immediately bought more to give as gifts. It is portable and programmable. Fills tires fast and you can set the PSI so that it shuts off and doesn't overfill the tire - bonus, you don't have to stand there and watch it then. I think the cord could be longer, but it is long enough to reach all four tires, so no biggie.

Wont you know that I purchased this item for my husband. My son comes home from College and see the package on my table and says wow, I need this. I tell him to take it. A few weeks later he calls me and tells me that thanks to me he was able to use this item when we had to pull over on the highway due to issues with his tire. It was a lifesaver, he loved the fact that it was compact and easy to use.

This is a very good compressor. It is lit up blue so you can set the pressure with a digital Gage. It has a light built into it. You can set the pressure in increments once you reach that pressure it'll stop.
