Multisports® ST-2200 Stepper

Avoid this company. The product arrived missing a power adapter. The instructions don't provide any details other than "adapter" - no voltage, no amperage - I couldn't purchase an adapter if I wanted to.I called their support. You have to jump through hoops to accomplish anything (when they get back to you - it's a leave a message at the beep type of support). They insisted I send them a receipt. I guess there's a huge demand for multisports power adapters. I think I'll just send this thing back. It may be a decent machine but there's no reason to go through this. This is what I'd expect if Comcast started selling stair steppers.Update:I returned this product. I was never able to use it so I can't tell you how it functions. Here's a breakdown of their customer support: Day 1 - I call the phone number listed in the manual for missing parts. Day 2 - I receive a return call, I elect to send an email to Multisport instead. Day 4 - After a few exchanges with Multisport, I'm told that UPS has left for the day but the part will be sent. I'm told that it's impossible the part wasn't included - they never make mistakes. Day 13 - No part. I send an email to Multisport requesting an update. Day 14 - I return this to Amazon. Day 23 - I receive a response from Multisport saying the part was never sent because it's not under warranty.AVOID AVOID AVOID. Fortunately, with Amazon's return policy, I'm out nothing but time.

I like the machine. It give a good and challenging workout. My only dislike is it's a little noisy and the programs are kinda difficult to set.

This stepper is well-built and solid. I assembled it myself with no problems. I expect it to last decades. I am very pleased with this purchase.

The right pedal is horribly noisy and since the resistance is not controllable, despite claims to the contrary, it's not possible to pedal fast enough to get any cardio. The supposed product support is useless. I told them it was noisy and they expected me to diagnose the problem. I have no idea what they would have done if I were actually able to do that. They also do not know how the product works and told me to set the load level in a way that is not possible.

I've had this machine for many months. It works great except I'm @ 250lbs so I'm at the limit of the machine. It does exactly what it says it will do. The only reason I won't give it 5 stars is it won't ask you your weight when you get on. If your heavy like me then the climbing is faster as a result. If your lighter (like my wife then the same setting is slower.) I was able to compensate for the extra weight by adding a couple of bungee cords to the steps from the handles. This worked quite well.

This stepper delivered everything I needed. Doesn't take up much space, very efficient workout, great price, sturdy, and smooth. Would recommend this to anyone.
