So small
I knew it was supposed to be tiny, but I was still shocked by just how tiny this camera is.I haven't had an opportunity to use it yet. I'm just shocked by how small it is, ha.It came extremely securely packaged, has the cord to connect to the computer/charge, and the strap with the quick connect.I don't know that it would be all that effective as a hidden camera, just because if it's seen, it's obvious that it is a camera. I think it'd more just the novelty of it being so small. We'll see. :]

Really nice video quality, but the one button control is a pain.
I have a collection of sports cameras, from several GoPro's to a bunch of others. So I use these "simple" cameras quite often. I don't like the single button / single light interface. The light is a pinhole and you need to count flashes and length of flash. Turn on - press for approx. 3 seconds. Press once. Video recording starts. Press again, it stops. Press for three seconds it powers down. Press twice to take a photo. Unless it's recording video. But wait - is it recording video or off? You can't tell because either way the indicator light is off. Lose track of how many times you pressed the button or how far apart? Can take a while to figure out where you are. It's a real pain that the light is OFF whether the camera is recording or powered down.Apart from that, it's a simple, decent camera. The video quality is NOT close to "It’s like a mini Digital Single Lens Reflex" as they claim. But it's good. Video is compressed - a lot. There are jaggies on sharp angles and a lot of artifacts. This is not close to professional quality or even sports camera quality. But you can recognize faces and read license plates from several feet away. The time/date stamp can be toggled (the time and date are set via a text file, as is the time stamp toggle.)Focus is from about 6" to 30 feet, but in lower light there's noticeable chromatic aberration - purple fringes in high contrast areas.Video is recorded to AVI files with an average data-rate of 23,900 kbps. Mono audio at 16 khz, 256kbps. A 3 minute 35 second video is 630,00KB in size. The lens is fixed and non-removable, even though there's a visible thread. There's about 1/4" of space behind the lens and to the body. You could hide this in a book for example easily. You can't change any settings and have about 80 minutes of recording time. So if you had watching a babysitter or hotel room, for example, you have a short window of opportunity. There's no motion detection, etc. although you can record while it's charging. But it gets pretty hot - and good luck deciphering the flashing light, as it flashes while chargingAlso remember to edit the time file every use or the time will be wrong - or delete the file. But make sure to make a copy first - the instructions don't tell you how to format the date and time or what to name the file.

You will mostl likely be lost, perplexed
So far I am perplexed by this tiny piece of light plastic, but I will update later if anything gets better as I try to figure it out and use it. The first impression is bad (and cheap), because what kind of camera comes with no cover on its lens? I don't understand the Chinglish instruction booklet at all. Nothing useful there. The button on the camera does nothing and there are no indicator lights. There is a little short cable, maybe two inches, to plug into a USB for charging, but I get no lights or indicator at all, so don't know if that works or if the battery is really charging or if there is really a battery in this unit or not. The Chinglish talks about "blue flashing lights" but I haven't seen even one yet, at all.It is terrible that it does not come with the necessary storage (MICRO-SD) card, which would make it ready for use. I priced these cards today at a local store from an extra $17 to $25 to be able to use this camera. I have no idea what the weird, strange "fob" attachment on a draw string is supposed to be. It looks like a button switch, but it is on a draw string attached to the camera, so obviously is not real and does not have any recognizable function other than appearing weirdly out of place. It is not explained in the User Manual. There is a little orange two-piece capsule that is not even shown in the User Manual, much less explained. I have guessed that it is the adapter to be used to connect the Micro SD card to your computer after you have filmed.

Too difficult to operate.
The camera quality is very good, especially given its size. Conceptually, I really like it, but it's just too difficult to use because it required keeping track of how many times I pressed the button, what the LED light means and such. Also, it takes awhile to use properly because you have to have a good idea of the camera's range because there's no zoom or preview - you just record. I wasn't sure if I recorded anything successfully until I checked the files from a computer. You need to supply your own microSD card. It's a very cute camera, and I'm amazed at what it can do. However, the confusing instructions and the anxiety of possibly not recording don't make me want to use this, especially if I'm sure I want to feel certain about getting the footage.
