So sad and disappointed with this. I bought it for my daughter bday party and while the guests were eating they noticed gold looking flakes on their mouths and food and turns out the putter gold lining of the utensils were coming off as soon as they got wet. This was eating room temp or cold food too, not even hot or warm food and the lining still peeled off. I doubt those were safe to ingest but sadly it was too late since we found out after we used it already.

This plastic ware is heavy duty. We ate meatballs used the forks to cut them.No broken tines. When done threw them in a bucket to wash and was amazed they had all survived. In Gold they add a little class. Would recommend these to anyone who needs quality plastic ware for a event.

Product was not what I expected. Even after reading all of the positive and negative reviews I went ahead and purchased a box myself. I have to agree with one of the previous reviews, the color looks more like a rustic brassy color. The colors of all utensils were different, some gold, rose gold, brassy, spotty colors...as for the durability they worked. Nothing fancy though. We did end up using them because it was too late to return. I wouldn’t buy the Gold color again.

This set of cutlery was horrible. When I opened the package, everything was arranged so neatly. But upon pulling the cutlery out of the box, I was horrified. The color was a mixture of pewter and gold and was not a pretty site. I purchased this item for my daughter's baby shower and was so disappointed. It was too late to get another set (different brand, of course) so we used them. I was mad and embarrassed at the same time. The little bit of gold that was on the forks and spoons came off as the guest were eating. I should have saved the ones that were left for pictures, but they all went in the garbage dump with the rest of the trash. I would not recommend.

Hard to believe the lost of gold coating only happened to five of forty-five reviewers. I bought these because someone else had bought some silver coated ones still in use here. We are an older couple and to be frank, hard utensils on worn out teeth are not comfy. So, I got these, thinking they will be as good as the ones brought here. Every single one lost it's color in one use. Like getting coated cookware and seeing missing coating after cooking some meat... wondering who ate the paint

These worked out great for my daughters birthday party. They’re very sturdy and held up well.

Do yourself a favor and have these on hand for any party you may have in the future! It’s so much nice to eat from attractive flatware than from cheesy plastic colors. You don’t have to worry about matching a color theme either. Just get some and keep them in a drawer for the next time you have a crowd at your place. You’ll be glad you did.

I love this silverware for any kind of party, fancy or just a picnic. It is sturdy and I don't have to worry about it breaking. It goes with any kind of dishes, plastic or china.
