 Install is very easy. When first testing my LED strip, before actually sticking it onto my bumper, a few of the lights weren’t turning. I noticed when I bent it a little they would turn on and off so I just went for it and so far so good. Clearly the quality isn’t the best due to the poor connection but for the price they’re great. I feel very confident making lane changes at night now, definitely stands out.

I just installed this tonight on my 2017 frontier. The LED strip is not really 60" long but fits perfectly on the frontier so no complaints on the length of the actual LEDs. There's a few inches of non LED black (must be the module) where the wire meets the strip. The exposed LED actually span from corner to corner on the frontier which is about 55 - 56 inches or so. I reduced a star since the amber lights turn on and off (not sequentially) as I apply the brake and right before the brighter brake lights turn on (when daytime is on). Not sure if the one I received is defective but it seems that it "shouldn't" be doing that and should only make the daylight (dim red) get brighter without lighting up the amber. It will provide a weird lighting so the dummy tailgating behind me will be left guessing. If I get a ticket for this, I'll be pretty ticked off but doesn't seem to be that big of an issue. I think the police have better things to do than write a traffic citation for amber lights flickering on before the brighter brake light. Hopefully the seller / manufacturer responds to this and maybe the one I have is defective... Not sure about the other 2 reviews leaving only 2 words. I would think Amazon should reject 2 word reviews...I'll be posting a video of them in action. Y'all will see what I mean about the amber lights turning on and off when I press the brakes. Updates coming...# Update 2018-12-31The seller replied to my concern about the amber turning on before the brake. Looks like its intentional to caution the driver behind. I've bumped up my rating from 4 to 5 stars.

 This light is a easy modification for trucks. I put this light on my 2018 Toyota Tacoma. The light fits perfect on it.Bright lights make sure people know you are braking, turning or reversing. The turn signal sequential is very cool.The light is sealed in silicone so water can't get through. It is also flexible so you can make it fit the curves of your vehicle, something I had to do. It is also low profile which was great for me because I don't want to cover the hole to release the spare tire on the truck if ever I need to use it.The light is pretty much plug and play if you have the trailer connections. My Tacoma did have it but you have to wire in the reverse on this light strip. Although I did this at first, I didn't like the wires showing on my bumper (not the lights fault, just a personal preference). To remedy this, I bought a Curt wire harness to wire the lights. I suggest you do this because it makes installation easier and you don't cut into any factory wires.

 I know that this is intended for trucks. but I used it in an unconventional way. Love it!

 I bought these LEDs to put on my 2004 Chevy Avalanche. They're very well packaged and the first thing you notice after in boxing is it these are not cheaply built LEDs. I have installed lots of LEDs on my car's over the last couple of years and you can tell whether something is cheap crap or made to last, and these are made to last. They look extremely cool it will definitely make your truck stand out. Installation took less than 5 minutes. Remember to thoroughly clean the area where the lights will be stuck with a Degreaser and then wipe with isopropyl alcohol. Let thoroughly dry, then apply LED strip. Long story short I would definitely recommend these lights.

This is an excellent product it’s super easy to install and plug and play. It looks awesome on the truck at night. The adhesive is very strong and stick very well to tailgate of my truck. Sequential lighting looks very pleasing and I’m glad I now have the ability to have it on my truck. The leds are very bright and definitely adds to seafty while driving increasing traffics visibility to your direction. Couldn’t be happier.

The only trouble I have right now is there were no instructions with the product. Your message that I received had a message that began with was: FYI, attached is a download with some help. The only download was the one to do this review. I plugged the unit into my work van which has a four prong connector and it worked great. I’m trying to connect this unit to my Avalanche truck which has a 7 pin round connector. I really think that once I get straight about the wiring, this will be a great addition to my truck.Looking forward to hearing from you with any help you can supply. This LED Tailgate Light Bar is super bright (can be clearly seen during daytime and nighttime). It comes with the wiring digram which is easy to install. Plus it has 3M adhesive that helps place it on the truck. And not to worry about rain, it's 100% water proof.I like the quality of this product for the price.
