 I bought this as I love going for walks in wooded areas with my family and a few times I've thought that it would be handy to have a multi tool for thing like building pretend shelters or cutting branches.This one looked good and I was right.Its confusing as to how many tools you get.The amazon listing is called 11 in 1.The diagram in the description details 12 toolsThe included leaflet / instructions describe it as 15 in 1 tool but the picture shows and details 12 tools.It has 12 tools!A question a lot of people have about multitools, specifically the knive is "is it legal?". The short answer is no.The blade locks into place when its fully open which means that it's illegal to have in a public place. It matters not how long the blade is at this point, its the fact that it locks out which is the issue.Of course there are defenses to this but for the majority of people, if you take this into a public place, you'll commit an offence.Whilst were on the locking mechanism, I like it a lot and I've seen some awful ones on other multi tools. Each tool folds out smoothly and once extended it's locked in place and won't go anywhere.To release the lock you press the button and that enables you to fold the extended tool back in place.Also included is a pouch with belt loop which is high quality and not one of those flimsy onesI'd highly recommend this multitool.*** If you've found this review helpful, please hit the "helpful" button as it makes writing them worth while ***

First things first I’m very happy with my purchase so this is NOT intended to put this multitool down, I believe it to be excellent value for money and have given it the 5 stars it deserves.This is not a leatherman for beer money. There is a marked difference in that the leatherman really is of good tool quality. Rather than going into a critique I’ll try to sum it up this way. If I have a job to do at home that this type of tool is big enough for I would go to the leatherman. If I had this instead I would go to my garage and get a proper tool.So why am I pleased with it. I’ve bought this to go under the seat of my motorbike, primarilly for pulling objects out of a tyre should the need arise. I would prefer a leatherman but I don’t have the money to have several lying around. In the situation where I don’t have better alternatives this will get me out of a lot of problems.

I bought this as a spare for a more expensive multi tool and it is very solid feeling. The locking action is really nice this might actually be the first tool I reach for now. The only downside is its a little heavy but it's a small trade off for what feels like durability. Well worth while.

A little stiff but nevertheless very handy and useful whether you are at home or on a journey highlly recommeded when travelling
