Algebra GRE Strategy Guide, 3rd Edition (Manhattan Prep Instructional Guides) 3rd Edition

I haven't taken algebra in years, and this book has allowed me to review it by challenging me and assuming I have a rudimentary understanding of the material. I have to admit, I think I would have liked algebra more if I had someone teach it to me as well as this book :) An excellent book.

The textbook covers some important information, especially if you haven't done algebra in a few years, but it has limited problems and practice sets.

Practice problems are great, tips in the beginning of the chapters are great... overall great book if you are rusty on the formulas and calculations

This book is for you. All the concepts I forgot or remembered wrong. I'm finally getting my quantitative GRE practice questions correct.

Very helpful for a refresher in Algebra.

It is an excellent book. It includes the different levels of questions Easy, Medium and Hard Questions. Explanations are given for practice questions.

I purchased it because it gives you access to 6(actually 5-1 is already free) online manhatten tests at 760 rs(705+shipping),so i dont know about the content of this book at all,but if you are also looking for getting access to the tests,then it it is a definite purchase as the tests costs 30 USD standalone or with a 20 USD book will give you access.About the tests,the quant part is definitely a required buy as the tests are created for high quant scorers(most indian and engineers of different background who after 4 years of engineering in their respective branches have somehow developed interest for CS) , i obtained 167 in quant but the tests always predicted my score to be 166-164,so yes use it for getting access to online test series.The verbal part of the test series has not yet caught up with the REVISED gre-use of some obscure words with not so tricky SC/TC and RC-it predicted a higher verbal score than i got(156 :/ ).
