Fixes SOME Water Damaged iPhones
It does what it says - it removes corrosion on electrical circuuits through the use of a fairly common formula. And if corrosion is what is keeping your water damaged iPhone or other piece of electronic equipment from working it will do the trick.iRevive also deserves recognition for the wonderful tear-down instructional video out on YouTube. It is worth at least some of us rewarding them with a purchase for that video alone. The one caveat is that there is a big difference in whether the phone was powered on when it got wet (or powered off immediately following submersion) and the water it was submerged in. From Wikipedia: "while distilled water is almost an insulator, salt water is a very efficient electrical conductor". So drop it in a pot of clean water while it is powered off - excellent chances. Drop it in the ocean while talking, pull it out and see that it appears to still be working, and then keep talking until it mysteriously dies - not very good odds.I would guess those who have used this product without success were out of luck due to short-circuits.

Works to remove corrosion, but wasn't enough to save my phone
I bought this because I dropped my phone in water and after 4 days in rice my phone wouldn't turn on and would beep every few seconds if I plugged it into the charger. The tools that come with the spray work pretty well. The suction cup isn't quite as strong as I needed to take the display off my iPhone 5, but it did the job. The spray worked really well to get rid of the corrosion and mineral deposits that formed on the logic board, but even with cleaning it and replacing the battery my phone sadly did not come back to life. The only other thing I would note was that I chose expedited shipping (3-5 days) and I received it on the 6th day and the seller did not enter the tracking information into Amazon so I had no idea when the package was shipped or where it was. But overall, if your logic board wasn't fried when you dropped it in water, this could be a good solution for you.

Could be better...
After using irevive, my water damaged iPhone went from not lighting up at all to lighting up as normal. The speakers still don't work though and my home button doesn't work either. Generally easy to use when following tutorial. Result wasn't as spectacular though.

Worked but bad ending
Did work for me. My girlfriend totally F'D up she washed her iPhone 4S with our sheets in hot water, double cycle with laundry soap and Downey. BAD RIGHT!!!! I had no faith in the phone work after only not only for those reasons but she tried to turn it on afterwords. Aw man. So I totally said F it and just replaced it with a new galaxy. So to the actual review I seen a ad on the Internet and I said WTH $20 give it a shot so I'm a nerd I took the phone apart and sprayed and brushed everything gave it a day and here is where I messed up I TURNED it ON!! Crap it worked the phone LIVED, LIVED I tell you hurray right wrong. The dang thing was in rice for a week and after being dried out for a total of 15 days including after the irevive. A little bit of water was still in the screen. CRAP! Screen burned out but the phone work people get this product 20 bucks is worth a try you can save $$$$ by not replacing it think about it $20 over what I spent $400. But be warned let that sucker dry. I got lucky and got an amazing deal for a new screen for $11 give it a shot

I guess it's supposed to work
The bottle is a lot smaller than I thought it was going to be, and the supplied toothbrush can be a little big to fit in certain areas. It didn't work for me, but not blaming the product.

The Skeptics Were Proven Wrong!
The iRevive spray actually did work. My husband's 4S cell phone was in the bed sheets and the bed sheets had a full run in the washing machine with detergent & cold water. The phone did not turn on and it was heavily water damaged. I went to the "Genius Bar" who stated that they could fix my phone (yay!) by replacing my phone with a new one for $200 (say what?). I went to Youtube to find any last ditch efforts before having to purchase a new phone while keeping the iPhone in rice. I bought this spray, followed the Youtube instructional videos to the T... and lord and behold, the phone worked great again! I did have an issue where "No service" kept happening when I first put the phone back together and so I took it apart again and really cleaned off the antenna. This did the trick. I also had to replace the battery by going to my sisters' iPhone graveyards and found the compatible battery.

Did Not Work
I bought the spray bc I saw the money back guarantee and tried reviving my phone but it did not work. I went to the iRevive website and wrote a message asking about the guarantee or any other suggestions on fixing the phone and after 2 weeks, I still haven't heard anything.

Alcohol spray
The alcohol spray did what it was supposed to do, but corrosion was not my problem.Rice dried my phone, alcohol cleaned it and a new battery made it work again. The alcohol was probably not necessary.
