Fun
The book was in good shape when it arrived. It is a silly story. I got it for preschoolers. They liked it but it was a little long.

Delightful!!!
This book is absolutely delightful. The rhyming can entertain a child from age 2-10! Someone gave it to my granddaughter, and I thought it was so fun that I purchased it as a gift for a friend. It will definitely be on my list of go-tobooks of gifts for children! What makes it even more fun is that the author uses more sophisticated vocabulary, but does it in such a lyrical way, that it will not only introduce new words, but is fun to both read and hear.

Riddles and rhyming My My
Very cute book. Pictures are catching and the rhyming is quite catchy and cute. Pretty sure several of my friends have the first page (or several) memorized just from reading it to their kids. I will say though about the rhyming, my husband is not a very fluid reader and it kinda irritates him to read it aloud to the kids. For me though, its wonderful, I love reading, and am capable of reading quite fast while maintaining articulation, so it's "my" book to read to the kids. Which is fine with me; it's a fun read to bounce around on your tongue. Both my 1 and a half year old and 3 and a half year old love it.

Great Sit Down Book for Kids of all Ages
Bubble Trouble is no trouble at all in getting kids to settle down for a nap, quick read, or just because...The story takes you through the adventures of a baby in a bubble in verse. The trouble starts at home with the sister Mabel making bubbles...and as one gets away from her it swallows up the baby and the voyage begins...through the neighbors yard, the city streets...down through town with many people getting involved along the way and trying to get baby down. Until a kid from the church choir uses a pebble and his sling to bring him down and to see what happens to the baby you will need to read this one. An adventure that kids of all ages will enjoy.

Yes and No
This is an AWESOME book! It is one of few that I don't get sick of reading to my son over and over and over. I received my first version of this book as a gift, and since we liked it so much I ordered a couple as gifts. My only issue with the shipment was that I wanted the cardboard 'chubby' verson of this book since that's the one I had, and I received hardcover/paper versions. They're fine, just not what I expected. Again - fantastic book!

Fantastic tongue-twisting rhyming story - great for all ages!
What a wonderful book for children of all ages!! We got this from the library and loves it so much that we ordered several copies off Amazon, to keep and to gift to others. My daughter is 2 and loved it but I can imagine children much older enjoying as well. It's a sweet story with great illustrations but what makes this so fabulous is the tongue-twisting, rhythmic, witty rhyming verses! So fun to read aloud - fun for everyone involved. Highly recommend!

Bubble Book, mummy!
I bought this book for my two year old a few weeks ago and already it's one of her firm favourites, even though the text is a bit too much for me to read through as she paces through the story, turning page after page to follow the bubble's progress. In the book, little Mabel blows a bubble and causes her little brother all kinds of trouble as he floats over their town. We have great fun as my daughter identifies every character on each page (as someone in our family, a hobby of hers) as the illustrations are great and keep her attention throughout.Luckily, Mabel's brother is saved as so there's always relief at the end, and usually a demand to start again! A super read.

A hoot!!!
A tongue-twister of the first order, a delightfully twisty romp. A classic for every home. Recommended especially to be read aloud to a group of mixed ages from 4-90!!

Brilliant book!
One of the funniest, cleverest, most beautifully written children's books we've come across. A pleasure to read aloud and our 3-and-a-half year old committed bits of it to memory! Generally anything that Polly Dunbar is involved in is great, but here her illustrations are just perfect for Margaret Mahy's words. Buy it!
