Cute, has its flaws but its like any costume
This product is alright. It's as I expected for a "costume". It has velcro straps in the back to keep it together which they sometimes come apart due to the heaviness of the two tentacles towards the top of the back of the costume. I used safety pins to hold them up as well so they didn't make my son tip backwards do to excessive weight in the back. They also pulled on the back of the costume causing the front to come up into his neck. Again, this was easily fixed by a few safety pins and sewing the tentacles to the costume a little closer. I bought a toddler size I believe it's up to 4T. It is a tad big considering my son is 2 and a half and wears 2T-3T but it let's me layer as well to keep him warm while he's out side in the costume. The feet straps I would suggest putting on the bottom of the shoe because they will bunch up inside of the shoe and cause the costume to bunch up as well at the feet. The hat fits fine as well. I would wash this in the washing machine or dryer. The fabric is just too delicate and you may lose the integrity of the fabric or stitching. It's cute if you want a baby octopus for halloween or any event!Shipping was fast as well came the next day which was unexpected, so thank you for fast delivery.

Disclaimer that I purchased this at target but I always come here for reviews so I wanted one here too. I got an 18 month for my son that wears 12 and 12-18 clothing. The tentacles on the back drag the ground but i couldn't get it past his chest because it was so short. I ended up cutting the bottom of the feet so that the feet can rest on his shoes but now it rises up and I can't even snap the snaps around his diaper area. It's still super adorable but design could be better. I have to keep washing the tentacles because they drag through dirt and such. The back is Velcro but all of the weight is in the back so it comes apart easily. If I would have more time or patience I would've disconnected the tentacles and reinforced with snaps so that he can go in and out of car seat easily and I would've replaced the Velcro back with snaps and I would have done an elastic m band to go under his shoes to keep legs in place. But I don't have patience and I bought it hoping it's be ready to go.
