Optimal Pour Over
When I was recommended this pour over set, I was hesitant because I didn't like the idea of plastic interfacing with boiling hot water. While I can't say anything to the potential hazards of that aspect, I can say that the cup of coffee that comes out of this is far superior to any cup of coffee I had made prior. The design and construction make it easy to clean, use, and make a great cup of joe. If your goal is a good pour over, you can't get much better than this.

For all coffee lovers!
I dropped my glass hario v60 decanter and was super bummed. I was just going to buy another one but figured I'd try out a different model with a handle since I've been a klutz lately. I'd you're into coffee you know hario is the universal standard for pour over coffee brewers! This one is super convenient with the handle, the v60 brewer is standard and it can hold 700ml which is a sizeable amount. Good enough to make 3-4 cups of coffee so it's definitely big enough for most people. If you're in the market for a pour over brewer, you can't go wrong with this one! It also helps that it comes with a bunch of hario paper filters as well! So saves me a bit more money there!

Perfect for people learning how to make a good coffee.
Actually pulls out the flavors your coffee brand describes, holds enough for two cups in the morning, and is not complicated to do. Things to make a note of: Coffee will be stronger than you think, it can take some time to make a full pot, and although people suggest using a gooseneck kettle, a simple tea kettle works just fine. Tldr: Makes a delicious cup or two of coffee, but takes a bit of patience to do so. 9/10

Super Simple Way To Get A Great Cup of Coffee!
The V60 is an iconic system to say the least. I have had it for awhile now and I must say it is by far my favorite way to make coffee. With a little bit of technique and some good quality coffee you can have an incredible cup of coffee. I recommend the 4:6 Method for most coffees. This is a great quality product and arrived just as pictured. I don't use the carafe that much. (I just brew right into the cup). Great product+ good technique+ good quality coffee = some of the best coffee you have ever had. Five stars!!!

Best way to make a great tasting coffee!
I love my Nespresso coffee, but the machine broke one day and I decided to get something else because Nespresso coffee machine and capsules are expensive. I got an insulated stainless steel french press and enjoyed making coffee out of it, but it took a while before I can get it right. I was still missing the taste of my Nespresso capsules, then I saw Aeropress. I researched on Aeropress and eventually bought one and loved making even better and clean coffee out of it. It was so much easier to make and clean up than my french press. I then decided to upgrade my electric water kettle to the gooseneck one for better control on pouring hot water, and then the pour-over coffee got my attention since these water kettles are made just for that purpose. I researched on pour-over and eventually settled on the Hario v60 kit because it is highly rated and cheap compared to the other famous brands. It is not as elegant as the Bodum or Chemex, but way cheaper and way easier to clean up. Let me tell you, I was skeptical on how good the coffee will turn out for the pour-over, but I’m now sold on it! It is the best way and the easiest way to make a great tasting cup of coffee if you get the right recipe! It is now my go to for my morning coffee! What am I going to do with my french press and Aeropress???

Cute Little ~24oz Pot!
Apparently, “size 02” equals approximately 2cups/24oz. Simple design for simple use. Easy to clean. No comment on durability because I just received this cute little pot.

Favorite pour over system on the market
I had a ceramic V60 which fell 8 feet to its demise about a month ago. I also have a Chemex, and a stainless steel coffee gator (filterless) pour-over system. I paid more than twice this much for my other pour-over systems, but this is the one that I go to every morning. To get an idea of why I like the Hario system so much, I will compare it to my Chemex. The biggest issue with my Chemex is the draining - it’s difficult to get water through the grounds even with a rather course grind. I should also mention that I use a professional grade grinder along with a Kruve sifter, so my grind size is consistent within 200 micrometers. There are a few ways to deal with this (1) you can go with a very coarse grind, and brew a cup in about 3 and a half minutes. This leads to underextracted beans, and a delicious, but noticeably weak cup of coffee. (2) you can stick with a reasonable grind size, and brew for a longer time (4+ minutes). This is my preferred method, but often leads to over extraction from the beans and some bitterness. (3) you can use a finer grind and just stop brewing at ~3-3.5 minutes. This will give you some great (strong) flavor, since your bean to water ratio will likely be high. Topping off with hot water is usually a decent compromise. All that said, The Hario V60 is the only system I know of that has solved this issue. Hario gets around this by adding small protruding ridges to the interior of the V60 that help immensely with drainage. The ridges help create air flow which pushes water through the grounds at a faster rate than the Chemex. This lets me use a finer grind which brings out better flavor without any bitterness. The fact that the V60 pour over is independent of the collector is also a huge plus. I’ve experimented a lot with different grind sizes, extraction times, and brewing techniques, and being able to remove the top piece and taste the coffee at different points in the brewing process has helped me learn and develop better brewing techniques (e.g. you can setup three cups and switch the pour over between them every minute or so to see how the taste of the coffee changes with brew time). If youre passionate about making the “perfect cup” of coffee like I am, this is the product for you.

Complete set, ready to use
There’s little else more iconic in pour over coffee than the Hario v60. This set gives you everything you need to make an easy cup of coffee, except the coffee. I used it to keep at the office and make coffee at work. I also used an electric kettle to heat water.

A very nice little pour over set, makes an excellent cup of coffee and is easy to clean and is well made. Instructions are in Japanese only but there are pictures and it’s easy enough to figure it out without them

It's brilliant, but although it has cup sizes on the side totalling 5, it holds a little over 2 average mugs, or one extra large mug as shown in my photo. Instruction booklet is in Japanese but the pictures and numbers make it easy enough to decipher, including how long to microwave it to reheat, as there are no metal parts.
