Panorama Antennas 2G/3G/4G Mimo Desk Mount Antenna

I recently got a ZTE MF279 Homebase and the LTE signal (on the unit, not connected devices) was switching between 2-3 bars and averaging around 15Mbps down and 22Mbps up (sometimes higher, depending on the time of day and network usage). However, after installing this I am now getting a consistent 3 bars and averaging over 20Mbps down and 30Mbps up. I had to play with the placement a bit and I may be able to find a better "sweet spot" (just got it today) but so far I'm happy because I was looking for something to help strengthen the signal to the tower and that's exactly what it does (albeit, not in a "superhero" kind of way but more of a "nice person that holds the door open for you" kind of way). Since I left it alone I have not seen the signal drop back down to two bars. I can't speak on whether it strengthens weak connections to devices connected to the hotspot/router because my place is too small for dead zones, but it definitely strengthens the connection of the router to the cell tower(s). It's probably not as good as a directional cellular antenna mounted outside and pointed at the nearest tower, but for those who don't want to deal with that and/or need something portable that can also be used indoors then this works nicely. Minus one star because placement is touchy and if it gets moved a tiny bit then speeds may be affected.

Didn't pickup more than one bar...

This antenna actually caused the signal on my Nighthawk NETGEAR MR1100 to get worse during every single attempt at using it. Mine may have been defective, but I suggest two independent 4gLTE antennas.

This may have helped minimally with signal strength. I wouldn’t buy another one though.

I just connected this antenna to my Netgear Nighthawk M1....BOOM!!! It works fantastic with those connectors....I’m getting an average of 70/12....way better than Spectrum!! This off of AT&T Unlimited.....with a little experimenting...amazing things happen!!

I've played with cell phone antennas and amps through the years and wasn't expecting much from just a simple antenna that seems intended to be used without an amp on a wireless hot spot. I ended up gaining from 5-10 dbm which is impressive (considering no amp involved) just by placing inside a window facing out. I did have to adapt the connectors to fit in my Verizon AC791 hot spot (which were the tiny SMA or whatever they were). There must really be something to the MIMO design which uses the 2 connectors rather than 1. Normally would expect no more than a 3dbm gain from a typical omnidirectional antenna.

Um es vorwegzunehmen: Diese Antenne wirkt keine Wunder! Rezensenten die hier nur einen Stern vergeben kann ich durchaus verstehen, da sie vermutlich zu viel erwarten. Wenn das LTE-Signal am Standort schlecht ist wird es mit der Antenne vermutlich auch nicht besser. Ich wohne auf dem Lande. Trotzdem bin ich einer der "Glücklichen" die volle 16000 auf der DSL Leitung haben. Aber da man nie genug Bandbreite haben kann, gönnte ich mir Magenta Hybrid S. Auf dem Papier theoretisch nochmal 16k. Ich habe im ganzen Haus LTE empfang. Der Mast ist knapp drei Kilometer entfernt, OHNE freie Sichtlinie. Das sollte also kein Problem werden. Der Speedport Hybrid brachte es mit interner Antenne auf zwei von fünf Balken bei der LTE Anzeige. Downstream über LTE war im Schnitt um die 4 bis 5 Mbit. Also sollte zur Verbesserung eine externe Antenne her. Nach Montage, Ausrichtung ungefähr zum Mast und Konfiguration (Speedport auf externe Antenne) kam dann erstmal die Ernüchterung. Um den Standort des Routers herum auch nur zwei Balken in der Anzeige. Naja...mal wieder Schrott bestellt. ...oder auch nicht. Die Überraschung kam dann beim Update von Star Citizen: Durchschnittlich 3 Mbyte/s im Download. Also dann fast doch die versprochenen 16+16k. Fazit: Zumindest bei mir tut die Antenne was sie soll. Die Empfangsleistung hängt vom Standort ab. Besser als die geräteinterne Antenne ist sie allemal. ...wer jetzt mit dem Gedanken spielt, sich eine teure Richtantenne für den Außeneinsatz zuzulegen... Bitte unbedingt beachten welcher LTE Frequenzbereich am Standort empfangen wird und ob eine freie Sichtlinie zum Mast existiert. Sonst kriegt die Richtantenne auch nur eine Bewertung von einem Stern ;-)

Great antenna that gives me far better quality signal from my wireless solution and is so portable.

je l'ai acheté pour augmenter la réception et je suis passé d'une barre .... à une barre. Bref le fiasco. Alors pourquoi 3 étoiles quand même ? Car si vous avez la possibilité de le mettre en extérieur (chez moi c'est la structure qui bloque les ondes) alors il tient sont rôle et dans ce cas je passe d'une à 3-4 barres. Par contre aucune idée de sa résistance aux intempéries.

Pas mieux que la petite antenne interne

Kauft lieber eine Rundstrahlantenne, da braucht ihr Nichts ausrichten und habt wahrscheinlich die selbe Empfangsleistung.
