it is a lightweight lighter made of plastic and a small lighter suited for a pocket or a bag due to it's fliptop lid design keeping out the dust and muck - and it's refillable too. The flame adjuster doesnt make too much of a difference to the flame length, but its pretty much perfect for me as it is. if it gets lost the 'investment' is not high, so recommended it as a constant carry

...but the thing still works fine after hundreds of uses and several months without lid on, it's very sparing on gas, refill about once every 2-3 weeks with use about 20 times or more a day.

This is a great lighter, but unfortunately this is my fourth one due to the inadequate hinge breaking after a year or so of use.

Great lighter If it had longevity. I contacted seller as I have about 6 lighters that failed within 1 week the other 4 lasted a bot longer I'm now left with 2

Like it straight away. I don't think it's that hard to use either. It's not a heavy item and I had no problems pressing the lighter "button" despite suffering from carpal tunnel syndrome.There was a decent amount of gas already in this lighter when it arrived and I could use it straight away.The next day I made sure I buy some more gas to refill the lighter as soon as it needed topping up on gas. I refilled it after it had only a small quantity of fluid left inside. Refilling it wasn't rocket science either. It has like a "window" on the bottom and you can clearly see whether the lighter is filling up with gas or whether it doesn't. So I refilled it and took it to work the same night and that's when it suddenly stopped working. I get a spark each time but no flame.I've tried to fill it up with some more gas at home but it still had plenty of gas inside. No change, the thing just will not work. Now I've found out that if I give this lighter a thorough shake each time before using it, it might/might not produce an actual flame.So I have to keep shaking it well until I finally get a flame coming out instead of only small sparks.So it kind of works but doesn't really work the way it should. I've bought this lighter after reading through most of the reviews and thought that if it lasts for only 3months that's fine, it only costs less than £4 - if after a couple of months/weeks it gives up, I just get a new one.I wasn't prepared for it to stop working after only a couple of days.Maybe I just got a faulty item out of a batch of lighters that are working perfectly well? I don't know? Would I buy this lighter again?No - not just yet. I'll try a different make first.I keep it for now ( I don't think it's worth sending it back) and just keep giving it a good shake every time I'm about to use it. Who knows? Maybe one day it'll actually work fine again?
