My drum instructor started me off with the first week of drum aerobics and I knew I had to have it, so I ordered it and received it yesterday, Jan 17th. As I was waiting I stumbled upon your other book "Daily Drum Warm-Ups". I really want to thank you for letting me know how to count 32nd notes and anything over 16th notes. I have not yet played sextuplets at lessons, and your description helped a ton! I am 28 years old and am quite hard on myself because I feel like I am getting to old to be good at drumming. Fortunately, I explained this to my drum instructor and he made me feel a little better. Sorry for rambling, I just wanted to thank you again for all of your hard work putting these pieces of work together. This is a great book my technique has improved alot so far in 5 weeks or so since I have had the book , its good to get your hands working well and 5-10 mins on each excercise like I do works well . The only thing I would have done if I was the auther was to have excercises that do the bass drum , they are in the back of the book but to have them in the main excercises would be good so its not all about hands .I have bass drum control by colin baily so to me it dident matter too much .

the exercises are laid out so you do the same ...
the exercises are laid out so you do the same type of exercise on the same day of the week, for example Tuesday and Thursday are rudiment days and Saturday is weak hand builder, this way you don't really notice the increasing difficulty and therefore you actually make significant progress without realizing it.

I love this book!
A great collection of warm-up ideas and exercises using rudiments. I have so much fun playing them that it's tough for me to move on and discover new pages in the book since I keep playing the same ones over and over. Not the usual boring exercises but fun combinations of rudiments and rhythms. If you're bored with your usual warm-ups and rudiment exercises I highly recommend this book.

Use this book with Drum Aerobics!
This book is an excellent companion to Drum Aerobics by the same author. As with Drum Aerobics, this book is presented in a calendar format, one warm up exercise per day. When used together, you have for yourself a systematic practice routine that will definitely yield noticeable results. I purchased Daily Drum Warm Ups and Drum Aerobics together, and I couldn't be happier!

Great concept. A warm up for every day, with lots of foot ostinatos to make even the easier exercises more challenging.Andy has done a superb job once again.

This book wont teach you drum basics because you already need to know the basic of it. But if you know a few basic things about drums and the notations then this book will work perfect for you. It has all the rudiments exercises. Weak hand builders, rythm builders, and all the relevant exercises. And there are 365 different exercises which will never let you bore.You dont get any audio CD or link with this book which is bad.

La verdad es que la variedad de ejercicios y el enfoque temático de cada ejercicio (reforzar la mano débil, técnica moeller, patrones rítmicos recurrente, rudimentos, ejercicios de multirrebotes,etc) lo hacen un libro de técnica de caja diferente, muy ameno y divertido de estudiar
