Very pleasantly surprised!
I purchased this bridge and pickup set for a custom telecaster-style guitar build. I wanted something fancier than the standard stamped metal style, but having never built this style guitar before, I didn't want to spend much money. I was very pleasantly surprised when I received and installed everything. The items were beautifully packaged in a fitted box and were secured to a wooden plate. The quality of the components were excellent and the pre-wired controls were neatly soldered. Once installed, I was very happy with the classic-sounding tone of the pickups and the quality of the other components. The customer of this guitar was thrilled with the look of the bridge and control plate and the overall sound of the guitar pickups. I will definitely purchase again.

Modifications to pick guard required
I've got a black Squire Tele. This is not a direct swap item with a stock pickguard. It would be nice if they offered a few PG choices with this. Was a little disappointed with that part, but in terms of looks alone, once I complete the minor modifications, this will look really cool. Just hope it sounds and plays how it looks. That fact, to me, does not make this a returnable item. Might be awhile, but when I get it installed and I remember this is not a complete review, I'll update it.

Seems nice.
I used this set in a new Tele build. I can't complain about it. Pickups sounds decent and it was easy to install. I just wish I could find a neck pickup mounting ring to match the rest of the hardware. (I don't use pick guards on my builds). I used copper tape in the cavities and have zero hum from the pickups. Seem worth the money so far.

Great value!
Amazing value for the money. Metal is engraved and then the recesses are painted. There was a little black paint overage which could be scraped away in one spot and was a little thick in another spot but nothing too offensive. The pickups are remarkably good at this price point. I would absolutely buy another for a different build. Dropped right in to the USA spec body with no modifications needed.

Highly for the metal work
I bought sawtooth telecaster at Amazon and figured I would customize it. I planned on getting some alnico pickups and other mods such as a tusqu nut and roller saddles. Then I saw this. I was planning on setting the Tele as a western style player and this fit the bill perfect. It came with alnico pickups roller saddles and that elezibethan floral design. When I recieved the package I had to sign for it, from USPS. It came in a very nice box, heavy duty thick cardboard. Each piece had a slot it fit in and if it had screws it was secured with those screws. The metal bridge and control cover are beautiful. Both are thick metal with black reliefs with a "rope" edge finish and very classy. The knobs are black with pearloid top. It had nice chrome roller saddles. Now for the suprise the controls came with a nice 3 way switch a definate upgrade over the switch that came in the guitar (usual Asian cheap switch). It also came with large pots and a huge orange drop. This truly is a great upgrade and a bargain for the money. The alnico front pick up sound crisp and well defined, but the rear one is dead and the ohm meter jumps like popcorn. But in truth I bought it for the metal work. But it would have been nice if both pickups worked. its not all great mind you it does have some issues that may be important. One is the bridge. It needed to be drilled and fitted to the guitar, so it's not a straight drop in. So if your not comfortable drilling new holes in your guitar you may want to make a different choice. You will need to be able to find centerline and place the new bridge the proper distance. Then drill holes to mount both the bridge and controll panel. They are a little bigger than the stock and may require trimming of the pickgaurd. Also it does not come with a wiring diagram, which I finally went online and found one. With a wiring diagram I would have given a 4 star rating. But it would have been nice to include the diagram for the install. But neither were a large problem for me. None of the electrics are name brand such as CTS or name brand pickups if that stuff matters to you, but in allot of cases those name brands come from the exact same factories. Performance wise and aesthetics are both great. If you have a Tele build this is a one stop shop for you.

Great sound and nice look
For the price this is a great deal. I built myself a cheap Temucaster as I like to call them. These made it a pretty sweet sounding guitar.

Great product at a great price
This product arrived in a nice box with everything screwed into place into a piece of wood that could also be used as a template. The electronics are sort of a 1950's style with an orange drop capacitor. I actually bought this product expecting that they would be cheaper electronics that would more appropriately used on a cigar box guitar. I was more interested in using the metal hardware on a solid body guitar. However, I decided to go ahead and use the electronics in a Telecaster style build and was very impressed with the sound and tone. My friends that played the guitar thought so also. The first person that was interested in purchasing the guitar played it and immediately purchased it. I then used the bridge and control panel on another Telecaster style guitar made from wood from an old 1890's Ohio house. See photo for finished project. This guitar also sold immediately.
