TAMIYA86042 PS-42 Polycarbonate Translucent Yellow 3 oz

I had to spray a couple times to get the color I wanted but this has nice smooth coverage. It’s not exactly clear but opaque. We bought a bottle tree and having trouble finding colored bottles.

The picture I provide is 4 coats and then I clear coated them but works fine I have no complaints it’s definitely transparent for sure would buy again

If your expecting tint do not buy!!!!!!!!!!!! It's nothing more than translucent paint. I used regular yellow paint with just a mist and got a better result than with this.

This is a really good paint. I bought it to paint my translucent prints.

The media could not be loaded.  Don’t get me wrong it’s good paint but it is 100% NOT SEE THROUGH LIKE KRYLON STAINED GLASS! Not a good alternative if that’s what you’re looking for. If you’re looking for a solid yellow spray paint then yes this is a good choice. Linked video provides a comparison between the 2 paints.

Tamiya has had great products for decades...this paint is no exception. I used their green, red and now yellow translucent paints for painting glass & plastic in various lighting projects of mine. They work very well and as far as I know the only company that makes this kind of paint that does not cost an arm and a leg.

Might as well use regular paint. This doesn't work, it's not translucent at all and isn't a substitute for Krylon Stained Glass Yellow Paint.

This is an overall rating.The yellow is relatively transparent and easy to work with on a horizontal surface and if not for poor supplier performance from Horizon Hobby the product would get 5 stars, but it appears that the suppliers are not at fault for the systems they choose to use

すっかり見落として『フロスト』とあったのを考えていませんでしたがこの表記は『半透明』です。写真ではソリッドですがキャップも半透明でした。タミヤ塗料のご購入時はご注意ください（笑） フロストイエローですが、白で下処理をしてから軽く塗装すると軽いタッチで、速乾でレモンイエローに色づきました。意外と悪くない買い物でした！

綺麗な黄色ですが半透明で透ける塗料なので難しいです。裏打ちを白で塗りましたがそれなら最初から黄色を買えばもっと楽です。

商品が届いてから、ごく普通のイエローを買えば良かったことに気が付きました。悪いのは商品ではなく私です。
