Book overview
This is a helpful book work to learn freehand sketching. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn sketching

Interesting book
I enjoyed reading this book, it is a good insight in to how to use drawing techniques for sketching products. There is much attention given to detail, but not as much attention on how to use techniques for the beginner. I was hoping for more step by step instruction and also more furniture design, but that is probably my error at not examining the free look inside. It is an interesting addition to my book collection and I will certainly use it later as I become more 3D design literate.

Pretty pictures
Pretty pictures, but entirely useless as a drawing or rendering guide - for that see the books of Scott Robertson

A must have for aspiting design engineers
This book is not a set of tutorials. It is much more important than that because of the way the key principles of effective design communication are demonstrated. You will find yourself thinking about your designs in a completely different way and actually focusing on the areas that need improving to produce the results displayed throughout this book. Buy it and practice, practice, practice.
