These covers offer great protection..

Haven't used the dip stick or drain plug yet, but it looks good, feels nice and heavy. The new bolts were harder to get in than the old. There's no chance of properly torquing some of the top bolts. I used an extension and deep socket around the allen wrench that came with it to get them close to torque spec. Bought a hex bit socket set to do it right after the truck gets out of the shop for injectors. Dipstick screws in, have to carry a hex tool to check fluid on the road or in the field.

Bought an open box item .. don’t do that with heavy items. The gasket is pretty bent up due to poor packing. If I have to buy a new gasket it will negate the discount offered for the open box.

Not very easy to install, it is a very tight fit getting in in. But it us build like a brick house...

I have a 2004 Dodge Ram 5.9 diesel. The cover fit perfect. Holds four quarts instead of 2. Had to jack up the frame on the drivers side to get to the top bolts on the diff cover. Swing arm blocks the bolts. Other than that, no rubbing when turning right or left. Perfect!

Easy install, kinda pricey but already had the rear cover.

2012 Ram 3500 4wd. Steering stabilizer u-bolted bracket came in contact with cover before full lock to left. Had to trim bracket to get it to clear. Not an issue if you’re mechanically inclined. Very stout cover, stainless hardware and O-ring gasket.

I have 2012 Ram 2500 learami they said that the address the steering problem where the bolts hit the diff. Well that was a Lie It still rubs Gina remove it and gets different one and welding this one back up and reselling it. It looks great
