Campfire Audio Comet Earphones

Good Build Quality, and good detailed sound. GOOD PERFORMER!

Initially I couldn’t get a good and comfy seal with supplied tips. Got Comply foam tips which help with fit, comfort and sound quality. Also needs some time to run in before sounding it’s best. I can only compare it with the VModa Zn, also with Comply tips and here over time it does seem to have the better overall sound. I live in Ireland where it’s almost impossible to find and try before you buy, so it’s a matter of ordering online and hoping for the best. I’m happy enough with them, but not sure that I would make the same choice again. Build quality is good, however cable is thin, but replaceable. Must wear the cable around your ears as units are quite heavy and will fall out frequently otherwise. It’s possible that I am expecting too much from a unit in this price range but I like it rather than love it.

Even though these are considered to be at the Mid/ Lower end of the budget spectrum it was still a commitment to purchase these at the price. I have been using sound magic E10's and E11's for the past year or so and thought these were fantastic, but like all IEM's required pushing deep into the ear canal to get the best sound. Unfortunately these were not the most comfortable IEM's and on a motorbike they would slide out of the ear so noise isolation would be compromised. The Campfire comets were bought because they are more streamlined and therefore less bulky than the sound magic's, also of course they had excellent reviews. But what i wasn't expecting was the incredible deep rich crisp sound quality. These are deep into the hifi world, and, I have only been running them through a galaxy phone so far. I settled on the mid size silicone buds for comfort and the all important seal, though the memory foam buds may be better for motorcycle noise isolation. they also are a good firm fit and do not slide out of position even though they are weighty. I am astounded by the sheer sound-field these tiny IEM's can generate. I am going through my library listening tor what i have been missing. I highly recommend these well made gems ,absolutely no regrets.

In ear 'buds' (IEMs) are an eternal compromise between comfort, sound quality, and nowadays 'cool'. I'm too old to worry about the latter, but have had many such devices over the years because I spent most of it travelling for work. Ultimately form factor won out, and I preferred IEM over 'phones', but they were always uncomfortble by about the 4th hour of the flight.These were so well reviewed, that despite my recent retirement and travel evaporation, I bought some anyway and wear them around the house just to see if they are all they are cracked up to be. They are. I'm delighted. Perfect sound/comfort compromise. Buy some.For those amongst you of an objective bent, the 4 hour test has proven difficult to redo as I no longer do long flights (or long anything really) and I can't get past 3 hours because of a need to nap. But they don't fall out as I slump in the chair of an afternoon, if that helps.

These are really, really good. I was looking for a really good pair of IEM's to give me a warm, hi-quality sound when out and about.Having LCD2c's in the house I had a high bar to hit. I've had, B&W C5, to tinny. Audeze iSine, not practical for everyday and to clinical, Fiio FH5 no where near as good as reviews say!, Shozy Hibiki good but bass light. So I bought Comet's hoping for meh and I got amazing. Overall sound quality is clean but warm, precise but with a touch of hifi sound. I should note that you really need to get a good seal with the tips or these won't sound good. I made a custom ear-piece to get a really good seal.These are a joy to use, not fatiguing, very comfortable and very well built. Oh, and the case has a really nice premium feel also.

Really weak bass even with dac and equaliser. Very dissapointed. Sent back for refund!

I have been using a pair of old Shure earphones for the past 15 years. They are and continue to be brilliant. But I accidentally trod on them. After gluing them back together they still outperform in sound quality & comfort all the highly reviewed earphones I have recently tested between USD100 - 700 (about 12 different models).Then I tried the Campfire Comets. Oh boy...I have finally found what I have been so long looking for.Deep, rich, luscious, powerful. Spectacular! And very comfortable.Try them...you owe it to yourself.

I was thinking to buying thesis for a long time and when I bought them they stole my heart. They are the perfect combination of quality, sound, fit and price. the only thing that I wish they came with is a lighting cable to use them with my iPhone with out an adapter. I have try many earphone are these are the only ones that fit my ears perfectly and don't fall off. They are very small and come with many eartips.
