This is a fantastic set. Perfect for first time painters hoping to add color to the side of a book case or create some kindness rocks for the garden, or for people just looking to occupy yourself or your kids with something creative for a while. No labor (other than the initial unwrapping of each pen), fast clean up, they don't stink, bright colors. But don't get it on your clothes unless your goal is a permanent wardrobe change. The big tips and small tips work well (a couple small ones might get... overexcited? and leak a little so dab them on a paper towel or something from time to time). DO shake them before use, DO cap them unless you're literally using them right that second, or the bigger ones will dry out. but the paints all cover each other well, so if you use silver over black for example, it hides the black completely. There is no dark blue. Honestly this set could use 2 more shades of blue to complete it, then it would be perfect. but literally that's my only issue. So if you're a beginner just hunting for a way to practice for now, or looking for something for your kids to do, or painting kindness rocks while camping or on a road trip even, this is your set.

I read lots of review's & settled on these pens, for bring a beginner at rock painting. I didn't expect exceptional durability. I was surprised. I have not experienced any clogging or over pooling on paint in tips. Im on my 68th rock & no problems what so ever.Ive experimented with clear coating rock first. Paint base coating with Folk Art acrylics & just using marker straight on bare rocks. Bigger tips work better on all these surfaces than fine tip. Fine tips are great for details & outlining. Clearcoat first gives a smooth even glide. Im branching out into metallic paints & find metal tip sharpie pools a lot mire than these. Not sure if its brand or metallics. So I'm ordering a set of metallic pens on here to get a feel.

These are easy to use but not the thickest coating so have to reapply when using. Do love the color choices and the extra ends for replacing. I like the choice of thin and thick markers. I am fairly satisfied for the use of these in my crafting projects. Wish they lasted longer and were a bit smoother though.

These pens are a godsend. I do a lot of 3D Printing, and was able to get fine details applied and other flaws cleaned up with these gorgeous colors. My expectations were exceeded, as I was even able to apply these to previously painted projects which had dark colors, including black -- even the lightest of these acrylics pens covered it without primer. They flow perfectly, and the colors are vibrant. I'm glad I grabbed the 35 pieces set, because larger areas get covered with medium tips, while small details are applied using the fine. The silver and gold included with the standard set are gorgeous, and compelled me to order the Metallic set which I crazily did the day after.

TL;DR: Buy this! Great for its price with great customer service. Lots of opaque colors and dries quick. The only change I would like to see is a brown fine tip marker and a light pink medium tip marker.When I received this product, one of the markers did not have a ball inside to shake the paint around. I contacted customer service, and they responded within a day offering me a replacement (full set of markers) so I could keep the old ones. After receiving the replacement, my daughter immediately tested them out in her sketchbook (see picture). All was done by the markers. As for how long the markers last, I've only had them for a few days so I can't say much on that. I will update this review when the markers do run out.PROS: great customer service, markers have no odor at all, dries quickly, very easy to use, overall great pigmentation, bright colors that match their respective caps.CONS (more like critiques): I wish there was a brown fine tip marker and a light pink medium tip marker because I think that they would be the most useful.

Still learning how to use these, they seem great! Two sets one that has a larger tip, one smaller in each color.

Love the pens when they work. About a quarter of the markers are faulty and the ink doesn’t come out at all.

Wanted the posca pens but they are far too expensive so looked for an alternative. These pens are fantastic and colour really well, only downside I’ve found so far is that they can take a while to dry but it also depends on the type of stone as well.Would definitely recommend these pens, would say wear a glove on the hand you will be holding stone with whilst painting as can end up with paint on fingers.

Ich habe die Stift gekauft um Steine zu bemalen....zu beginn lief alles Top Farbe war toll alles ok...nach ca 3 Tagen die Überraschung rot war wie ausgetrocknet und malt nicht mehr obwohl sofort nach Nutzung verschlossen wurde und ordnungsgemäß gelagert.... ebenso bei der weiß in dünn.... kommt nur Wasser raus keine Farbe....schade für den Preis habe ich besseres erwartet

Like these just as much as posca pens maybe even more cheap and affordable I must find more!! I love them so much great quality and I use them all the time I would 100% recommend this to a friend

I simply love these paint pens ....in fact I wish I could get more of them but alas Amazon doesn't have them anymore ☹️☹️I've used them on various types of stones and there is good coverage ... sometimes the smaller pens do spurt a bit of the snag on a ridge or something ....For me the thickness of the pens was important to me as I have fibromyalgia and my hands , well let's just say they don't feel things very well... so the big pens are so easy to hold ...the smaller pens arnt to bad either ...

These are great acrylic pens at half the price of the leading brand. Seem to last a good long while and a good selection of colours.Highly recommended.
