Soft, firm, full-body size
Perfect for full body massage. Texture of foam bumps are soft but the roller is firm. It's wonderful.

The best roller on the market.
I have both the blue and black roller from Teeter. My preference, is the blue one because of the size of the nubs.

Be safe from the confusion of "Goldielocks" roller reviews!
I bought the Teeter massage roller to use at home in conjunction with my PT sessions in an effort to relieve pain in my back and shoulders. I had been reading reviews of rollers from many different companies and found that reviews for any (and every) roller would range from " This roller is too hard, this roller is too soft" and that they would lose the shape or support within a short period of time and sometimes the seams would separate rendering the product useless. I then saw the Teeter massage roller and could tell from the picture that it was foam wrapped around a solid core which would eliminate any about concerns about the shape sagging and thus the support deteriorating. It also is available in two densities, firm and less firm. I have purchased several products from Teeter in the past and have always been satisfied with the products, prices and customer service (excellent) so I purchased the Less Firm (blue) massage roller which arrived as promised in 2 days. I like that at 26 inches it is a bit longer than the usual medium length rollers and that the 5-inch depth is easier for me to manipulate than the standard 6-inch depth. Great product! ( I had previously bought an extra firm 6 -inch roller from another company and for me is unusable ). That said, I do need to say that I wish they will decide to provide an additional depth option ( 4-inch ) and an "even less firm" density because I do find the Less Firm a bit uncomfortable as I am using the rollers as part of rehabilitation therapy and a bit softer would feel better. A friend suggested that I wrap a towel around it so I did but I would rather have the convenience of having the perfect firmness and comfort I desire along with the quality of a Teeter product because I know that I could be confident that my item would be well made and durable. I would recommend this product to anyone who needs a well made dependable roller.

Slippery--use mesh fabric for rug
The roller is made very well and is a good size for ease of use. I wrote a prior review about the slipperiness factor. Which makes it very difficult to position for use. However, my husband wrapped some mesh fabric for under rugs around the middle and secured it with rubber bands. This was a great fix! Also the roller feels pretty hard, and with the fabric one can roll extra around the middle to make the tool just the right comfort level. All in all, I'm glad I purchased it! Plenty of time to use it now too :)

Nice Roller
Well constructed, and has held up well. The knobs aren’t as aggressive as I expected, but do provide a different stimulus vs a traditional smooth roller.

Works Better Than My TriggerPoint Grid Roller
I own several styles of foam rollers: a hard Teeter roller, a TriggerPoint Grid roller with medium softness and a high-density flat roller. I started foam rolling four months ago with the flat one. It was working for a couple of months until I felt I needed a textured roller to simulate deep tissue massage. Then I bought the TriggerPoint Grid roller but within a couple of weeks, it felt inadequate. Then I bought this hard Teeter roller and I’m satisfied. I think you need to listen to your body. Not everyone’s muscle fibers are primed for hard textured roller. If you dislike sports massage, neuromuscular massage and ultra deep tissue massage, you won’t like this. If you have never foam-rolled before, start with a flat roller. Level up only if you feel that your flat roller isn’t loosening your muscles anymore - your body will tell you that. If you still feel that flat foam rolling is doing the job for you, don’t switch to a textured foam or it’ll hurt you. If your body tells you that it’s ready for textured rolling, then go to a softer foam first. Make gradual upgrade to a hard textured roller by sensing what your body is telling you.

So the roller is a good product, but it doesn’t do what I needed ...
The roller is well made. The only negative is that I was expecting some excercises for my lower back, but the only one listed could be done without the roller. There also weren’t any excercises for the neck. So the roller is a good product, but it doesn’t do what I needed it to do.

Feels sooo good!
I bought this roller because I feel so tight after working out even though I stretch. I used it after a workout and it feels so good and its just right on being sturdy enough. My body and muscles fell relax after using this roller.
