Perfect for my 5 YO
I can’t say enough good things about this book. The second edition of this book is coming out in December 2020 according to the author’s website. The pictureA are colorful and bold and simple. It’s very appropriate for my 5 and a half year old. He’s learning sight words so we started picking the work God out of the book as he saw it. He loved be able to know which part of the mass we were in and which parts remain. He loved finding different objects in church and matching them to the pictures in the book. It was a game changer for my son. He said it was fun and it was the best he has done since we started streaming mass for COVID and probably better than he ever did in person. Highly recommend.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for such a wonderful Mass aide!
This book is just perfect for my boys (4 and 6 years old)! It has made Mass so much more interesting for them! I laminated the interactive parts and attached them with Command Strip Velcro. My boys are always pointing it what color vestment the priest is wearing within the first couple minutes of Mass. Having the prayers is so helpful for my 6 yo who reads very well. I can't thank this author enough and highly recommend it!

Great book for a young child!
My son is 6 and he really likes this book. His sister was gifted a mass journal but it really is too old for her. We wanted something appropriate for his age so I chose this one. I cut out all the pages it suggests and I used big packing tape to 'laminate' the pieces. Then I bought some little Velcro circles and I used those to attach the pieces to each page. This seems to be working out great. And he loves it! He loves to follow along during mass. It's fun. There's a page that says 'can you spot this' and I'm trying to decide how to make that more interactive and reusable. We are having a lot of fun with this book.

Perfect to Bring to Mass
I was so excited when I saw this book because I was searching for something to help my six year old connect more while at Mass. It's great for my independent reader to have all the prayers at her finger tips instead of trying to search for them in the big books. I love how it is a little interactive too and that you can cut out the images in the back of the book to laminate for endless use.

Cute but requires some effort.
I like the book, but the cutting out did take some time. I decided to put some mailing tape on the page itself, so the vestments won’t affect the page when she’s pulling them on and off. I did laminate all the vestments and I added an envelope to the back page to put all the extras in. She loves playing with the extras and organizing them. She actually plays with the book in the car and at home, sometimes. (Not usually in a religious way, but organizing things and talking about which color choice to wear.) I’m happy she enjoys the book. She’s 6 and enjoys seeing the priest’s color of the day. For Pentecost Sunday when he was wearing red - she gasped as she was thrilled for a new color. 🤣 I’m happy with the purchase! She wants to follow along with mass and enjoys the ownership of her own book.

Fun way to engage children in the Mass
My 4&5 year olds love this. They love to match the Priest's garments and lets them be more involved with following the mass.I did use self laminate for the cut out, double sided tape and packing tape for on the book. Plus I love that the book comes with extra cut outs.

Highly recommend for young Catholic children!
I absolutely love this book! It is a wonderful way for young Catholic children to understand and follow along with the mass. My four year old loves the interactive pages and the “eye spy” page. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone taking young children to mass. If I could make one suggestion I would love a hard back version of this book. I can see ours getting bent up quickly hauling it back and forth to church every week.

Visual aids for special needs and little ones.
Visuals are helpful for everyone, regardless of age, disability, ect. This book has a TON of visuals. It is like a visual schedule for the Mass. I'm a special education teacher, but I'm also a mom of a 2 year old and 5 year old. This is exactly what I have been looking for.
