I installed these mirrors on a 2019 Wrangler. There was more hardware supplied than I could use. The instructions aren’t very clear, but I don’t see any way that the rubber washers could be used and the bars still be in alignment. The hole in the bars doesn’t match the stud on the mirror at all. The way the bars go above and below the hinge requires that you remove the mirror head to remove the bars from the hinge. These will essentially have to be completely disassembled and reassembled every time the mirrors are removed or installed, which is a hassle compared to quick disconnect alternatives or those that only mount on the top side of the door hinge. They are relatively sturdy though. Also, mine arrived covered in finger prints and with some bags opened. I assume they were a return, but all components were there. The price point is good for what these are.

These are the only hinge-mounted mirrors I've found that don't move in the wind. Getting them to fit was a pain, as the pegs are larger than the hinge inserts on a 1992 Jeep Wrangler.

The product was delivered with 2 large wing nuts (good), 2 large nuts (good) 1 large lock washer (should have been 2?) and 3 rubber washers. I have No idea what the rubber washers were for as they are not shown in the directions. If they were for vibration dampening, shouldn't there have been 4? The directions were very oddly worded and skimpy. Not telling where the washers were to be placed. I assembled it using common sense and it seems to be working satisfactorily.

Overall I'm very happy with the mirrors. They add a great deal of safety and convenience to driving with the doors off however I did note just a little difficulty with installing them as they were really tight in the door hinge and had to be pounded in with a rubber hammer. Also the nut that secures the mirrors to the hinge was quite large making it so that it was impossible to install the nut with a socket as there wasn't adequate room between the nut and the body. All said and done I would definitely recommend the mirrors to anyone that likes driving with the doors off. they look nice and function well. I'm very happy with the purchase.

Definitely something you get what you pay for. At least it makes it legal to drive the jeep with the doors off. However the mirrors do not hold in place and have to keep adjusting to be able to use him. Finally just gave up and let them hang. Definitely would recommend finding a product that’s better supported to hold it in place.

More difficult/involved to take on and off than I anticipated. Luckily I live in the South and don’t need my doors for most of the year, if you need to go back and forth it would be a pain. Actually opted for only putting one on the drivers side to save extra hassle.

The vertical main poe is too short to fit both the nut and the wing nut, had to tighten the wing nut directly against the hinge. Also had to bend t slightly on the passenger side in order for the holes to connect the mirror to line up. Not any major issues but slightly irritating

Back in the days of the CJ you could legitimately get away without side mirrors with the top and doors off. The longer 4 door jeeps of today, not so much. These were easy to install and allow to enjoy the Jeep freedom while making sure it’s safe to change lanes.
