How to look expensive
This is an exceptional book, with lots of invaluable information and explanations. Never believed in makeups, overdone hair , tans because very often it looks unnatural and tacky. This book offers incredible solutions to all the things I had doubts about . To a degree I found all I was looking for for so long .Cannot recommend it enough to all the women of all ages.

Beauty Fashion Novice Loved it!!
As a novice on all things skin, make up & fashion, this was an eye opener & very fun read. I liked her writing style. Adored the illustrations & learnt lots!! Great book!! I'm so pleased I bought it. Lots of UK brands mentioned which I wasn't expecting!!

Good for beauty product advice otherwise average
Good for recommending products but otherwise provides little groundbreaking advice. No advice on clothing styles - focus on hair and face.

Disappointing
Very disappointing. Wish I had read the reviews and saved my money. Into the bin it goes.

Disappointing
'Expensive' obviously does not also mean good taste or style. A few of the ideas mentioned might prove useful but generally the book was very disappointing.

Title and content don't match
This book is all about buying the cheap products, not about how to actually look expensive. And it focuses an extreme amount of pages to bad hair. So, if that is your focus it might be ok. A few bits of good information but those were more like a one or two pager article than a whole book. I was dissappointed.

Good for hair and makeup, not much else
I have given this book 3 stars because it is very good for the hair, beauty and skincare side of things, and gives masses of information. However it is really let down by the lack of guidance on dressing, fashion and what to wear. This was literally 1 list at the end of the book with vague ideas. I though the fashion was going to be a much bigger part of the book.

Disappointing
I chose this book, as anything that can help me look more glam I'm into. However as a UK reader lots of references are to US products and websites which is very disappointing. The tips from the experts are ones that are in most magazines.A quick read but overall really not worth the money.
