If you have an worksharp knife sharpening system ken onion edition, YOU HAVE TO HAVE THESE BELTS!!
Hi everyone, if you have a Worksharp knife sharpening system Ken Onion Edition, YOU BETTER GET THESE BELTS. These belts put an new edge on my knife so much faster and easier than the belts that came with it originally. Now I will see if this company has belts for the blade grinding attachment. The belts can go on in either direction. The sharpening is super fast. What took 6-7 passes with the old belts only took 3-4 passes with these. What took 4 ascending belts to achieve that stupid sharp edge only took 2 with these babies. They cut so well, I had to really lighten the pressure I put on the blade to the belt so as not to have a burr. Wow am I happy with these belts. Hi h one other thing, these belts don’t load up with metal. The original belts I had to use light pressure from a brass bristled brush and my air hose to keep them clean, not so with these. I know this is an investment, but it is a great one.

Good, but could be better
These belts do work for my WorkSharp KO series and the price is right, but I think they could be a lot better if thinner splicing tape was used and the splice joint was cut diagonally rather than straight across. I've delaminated a number of fresh belts, mostly fine grit, as there is a pronounced bump when crossing the splice and the straight cut joint presents itself to the blade. They seem to work as intended when the angle of attack is downward from the spine (rear) of the blade across the edge rather than moving upward directly toward the edge. The WSKO however is designed to work in both directions. The OEM belts are significantly more expensive, but I have never had a similar problem with them. It seems like a simple fix depending on the tooling setup for manufacturing. I hope the manufacturer monitors user feedback and will fix this problem. Otherwise I will probably go back to using the OEM belts, at least the fine grit belts.

Econaway belts
These belts work just as well, or better, in the Work Sharp KO edition sharpener as the factory supplied belts, and are much cheaper. They also seem to last longer, although it's hard to say for sure, since I have used them on different knives. The package of 5 belts of each grit size is going to last me quite a while. The 120 grit belt is nice to have for re-profiling a blade or putting a quick bevel on an extremely dull knife and the 2000 grit belt is nice if you want a mirror polish on your final edge. However, I find that the 180, 320 and 800 grit belts are all I need to put a shaving sharp edge on all of my knives. These belts work and work quite well.

Pretty good deal
Pretty good deal. I thibk they are a small step down in quality from the set that came with my K. O. Worksharp. But that said, they fit perfectly and they work just fine. I am happy with them and would buy belts from Econaway again. They work fine and the price is right.

These are proing useful with my Ken Onion edition of my Work Sharp tool. However, every band should have its abrasive value permanently identifiable so that you can keep track of what you are using.

These work fine with my Work Sharp
These work fine with my Work Sharp. Inexpensive and use them a few times and replace. Don't expect a "long run-life" from these belts. But they work fine and don't cost you much. I like them and they do great on my knives and other hand tools.

Great Value
I have been very pleased with the quality of the belts. I've sharpened a number of knives with the belts and think they are as well made as the Work Sharp brand belts. It is definitely a better value. Great seller and product.
