Great buyer's experience
Product received was as described and was delivered as expected. Great overall buyer's experience. Would order this product again. Will be electrifying old lanterns to put these bulbs in to give them the flame effect these bulbs provide.

Looks real to me...
Excellent and high quality. As others have noted the flame effect is enhanced by using frosted translucent fixture. I installed in porch wall lanterns. Looks like real flames.

They do invert
I have 4 of these. I needed them to invert in the hurricane fixtures I put them in. They have 4 modes. They operate exactly as advertised and look very realistic.

After 4 bulbs.. all stopped working within 2 weeks.
Do not purchase.. unless you only need these for one day.Update.. received two replacements.. they also quickly stopped working.I would not recommend these under any circumstance.. 6 out of 6 failed.
