Straight out of the box my wife knew she would like this knife. She has smaller hands, making it difficult to get comfortable with most professional knives. The knife is perfectly balanced - can balance on one outstretched finger, in fact- and the smaller grip is the perfect size for her hand. Stainless blade is ideal for busy home cook, maintaining a stainless blade takes less effort than other steels. Has a good edge right out of the box - and we are anticipating very easy touch ups just to maintain the edge, which can easily slice very ripe tomatoes into transparent slices. Very good addition to any busy kitchen.

GOMUM knife surprised me. For the price, I wasn’t expecting much, but got sick of my old knives that just aren’t what they used to be. This is by far the sharpest knife I have owned in my life. Cuts through anything I attempted with: zucchini, watermelon, potatoes, and even half-frozen chicken.The construction seems solid, and the blade is very sharp (I have to take extra caution when cutting to watch my fingers with this one). The pattern of the wood really sticks out in the light, and it is designed to look like some high other high-end knives out there. I think it’s very sleek.Good knife to try if you’re on a budget and just need a really nice sharp kitchen knife that can be used for virtually anything.

I purchased this knife because of its looks and the grade of steel its made out of. I wanted a knife with a good looking handle that I could display when not in use and also one with high chromium (16%-18%). Also this knife is very affordable so you won't feel too bad if you roommates accidentally washes this and ruins the handle. Just add another $20 to the electric bill that month to charge for his incompetence.Update: Bought another as a gift for a friend and he loved it as well.

I just recently started cooking and wanted a knife which could slice through chicken like butter. This knife did not disappoint one but. It is extremely sharp and cut the chicken breast very very smoothly. I don't know how long it will stay sharp for, but will keep you updated. The packaging was also amazing! Would definitely make a great gift.

This knife is way beyond what I expected for the price! Beautifully made with what feels and looks like quality materials. It has the right weight and feel in your hand that you expect from a top high end knife. The edge is super sharp! It’s a real pleasure to use this. I just started using this so I cannot comment on how it holds up in the long run but given the solid materials and construction I expect it to last a long time.I only wish it came with a sheath.

Very pretty to look at... that’s about all it’s good for.. the design is awkward and hurts your hand during use. Lost edge immediately.

i recently relocated and lost my set of knives. I wasn’t able to invest much money and for the frugal person I am, I was looking for a value product. The knife comes in a nice sturdy box to provide and approve of purchase satisfaction. It very sharp with a nice sturdy handle to provide thin slices of any product whether it be meat or veggies. I believe amazon is huge library of convenience product and choosing the right one is a long term investment.

I purchased this knife for my mother, as her old knife from many years ago was wearing out. She said that it was really sharp and worked great, sending me these pictures of cutting squash and pineapple. It also came in this nice, velvet box, which was a lot nicer to give her for Christmas than some plastic clamshell one.Overall, seems to be of great quality.
