I installed this on my 2014 ram 1500 to keep the dust down in my topper. It is working great so far. I did remove both the rubber bumpers on each side of the endgate so the rubber seal can go through. I saved the rubber bumpers Incase I ever want to reinstall them. On the sides make sure you pull the rubber out over the edge about 3/8” otherwise there will still be a air gap.

In all fairness, I sold my Avalanche and got a 2019 Silverado. I was hoping the new truck would be more like my old truck, but there are a lot of "niceties" that don't exist in the Silverado. One was the unsealed truckbed.This seal took a little pre-planning to put it on right, but since I took the time, it looks great. Seals the tailgate almost completely. Went off-roading in a dry and dusty environment and all my stuff in the bed stayed clean. I'm sold! Worked great.

I mounted mine under the tailgate above the bumper. I used an adhesive in addition to the tape as I live in the midwest winters and wetness. The install is straight forward if your using the supplied flat 4 trailer plug. I cut off the plug and hard wired it into my harness for a clean permanent install. You will need to understand wiring and termination to do this. Time will tell if it will last. I will review after 6 months.

I had another brand/style installed by a well known automotive accessory company which had only a bead on the top portion. It promptly was scrubbed off by the gate it was supposed to seal. I installed another of the same kind putting it higher but the gate rolled that one down also. This design has more surface area to adhere to the body thus it is staying on. Much lower in cost and just as good in quality.

Put this on the tailgate of my 2015 Colorado. It sticks very well. Some of the adhesive stuck to my hand, had to use rubbing alcohol and then clorox wipes to finally get it all off. Overall a very good product.

Easy application with proper prep work done. Provides a good waterproof seal with ample length in case you make a mistake. 3M adhesives aren’t forgivable for very long so plan out your project accordingly. Instructions indicated to prep surface with included alcohol wipes however that was not included with my order.

Biggest problem? No instructions! And couldn’t find one video or instruction sheet anywhere. Nothing about the product application at all. Didn’t work well for my application on a 2018 GMC Canyon Need something that’s not as wide. It got great reviews and that’s why I purchased it. But wouldn’t buy it again.

Used to help water proof a tri-fold style truck bed cover. More than enough to go around tailgate and head end of bed cover. Time will tell how durable but a tight seal so far.
