Kit arrived on Tuesday and I plucked 4 hairs, popped them in the bag and sent if off same day. The following Tuesday, I had my results in the e-mail - they went to my junk folder in hotmail - so do check your junk filters. After living with symptoms of a food intolerance for 20 years (but just thinking it was the way I was rather than an intolerance), I was staggered to discover I had an intolerance to Gluten, white bread and oats. I started the elimination diet as suggested and am now 4 days in to it and my symptoms are fading more every day so it was definitely a reliable test even though I was sceptical about getting this information from hair strands. The test only gives you intolerances of 85% or more (i.e. those intolerances where you will get physical symptoms) so was a very simple and straightforward report unlike others that I've seen. I would recommend this. I have just come back to buy more kits for my family but unfortunately, the price has escalated now from a cost effective £19.99 to £35.99 which makes the cost too much for testing a family of 4.

I mistakenly believed that this was some new technology allowing us to see what’s been going on by scanning your hair. After getting my bizarre results, I did some research online and realised that this is overwhelmingly regarded as quack science, just like Homeopathy. There’s no scientific basis to any of it. There’s even a well documented case of a journalist sending in the same 2 samples of hair under a different name, and getting two completely different results. The only positive, is that they encourage you to make healthy life choices, & thats probably where the positive reviews come from. Don’t get ripped off!

Absolutely amazing.... Sent on Monday had results by Thursday. After years of misdiagnosing and pain I finally have answers. Not the result I hoped for (wheat intolerant) but it's a relief to finally know what's causing issues because every day for years has been a struggle not knowing what was wrong. I'm now going to order for the rest of my family. I would recommend everyone to do this test. This test kit was quick and easy, with full instructions included. Results were very detailed and I was surprised with how much information was included in this overall, as it even included a diet plan to try and fit in all the necessary foods I was lacking in my system. The only thing which took longer than expected was the time to get the results, after posting my test off (same day as receiving it in the post,) it took around 2 weeks to get my results; but once I had this I was pleased.

I bought this a while ago but wanted to write this for anyone considering buying it. Throughout my early 20s I struggled with my skin- I bought expensive skin care, tried wearing no makeup, you name it- I tried it. I felt so low and wouldn’t even let boyfriends or friends see my face without makeup. I then read somewhere that allergies can exacerbate skin conditions so I searched online for affordable tests and came across this one. The process was easy enough and I sent off a few strands of hair to be examined. A few weeks later I had my report emailed to me which stated I was intolerant to so many things I was eating on a daily basis like gluten, chickpeas, etc. I then started to eliminate these from my diet and saw real results after a couple of months. It’s now been about a year and a half and I’ve seen a real improvement with my skin and receive compliments from my friends and family who have seen my confidence come back. I’d definitely say this test is worth it if you have some minor health concerns that are otherwise unexplained or if you’re just interested in what your body is intolerant to.

Ordered this for a allergy test, and sent it back and been over 7 days no results very disappointed as it says 3/5 days for results

Very impressed with this kit. It was super easy to use, (just took a hair sample, placed in the envelope provided) and my results came far faster than expected (4 working days from posting). I was not expecting this report to be so through. I am very impressed by the spectrum of tests and info provided, there is info on the tests, how to interpret the report, food items, non food items, hormonal tests, metal intolerances and a vitamin/minerals deficiency panel. Whilst the report states these are reported sensitivities rather than direct allergies, I am really confident the results are accurate, due to me suffering with a severe allergy to wasp stings and this coming back as a 100% Following this report I am going for a medical allergy test due to the number of items I eat every day that I have sensitivity too. The report is ended by information on each tests and what to do/eat and or avoid to treat or eliminate every substance for which you have a high chance to react! My One only one criticism is that there report does include items to improve certain levels of vitamins etc, but sadly includes items that I’m deemed as sensitive too earlier in the report, and that makes it a little more confusing to apply the results. A simple asterix next to items I shouldn’t consume could make all the difference. Over all I really am impressed with this kit and for the price, I couldn’t recommend it enough.

Feels like a scam. Ordered and sent off hair samples. Not received results or any emails at all from them (supposedly you get the results within 72hrs of them recieving the samples). No contact phone number. Their email address bounces back the emails saying it does not exist on the domain. Money down the pan.

Samples took longer than 10 days but results seem accurate. Very thorough and organized response. I think the company needs to just acknowledge the arrival of the samples in an email once they receive them.

We received it quickly. Easy to do. Said it's for 2 people. Only an envelope for 1 sample. Sent to the USA in enclosed envelope. No response yet at 2 months

I don't ever write product reviews but I don't want more people to waste their money on this product. Just go see a doctor. I was very hopeful for this product but ended up thoroughly dissapointed. I feel like it's inaccurate, and almost like they have a random selection of intolerance results to send out. I bought to see if i have a gluten or dairy intolerance because I've struggled with stomach issues most of my life but want a way to rule out the root causes..neither showed up on the test to my surprise but there were things I have never had an issue with before like brocolli, said 100% intolerance. And where the real skepticism came in was the vitamins section. I'm someone who takes vitamins and supplements daily because I lift weights 5 days a week and it reported back i was low on biotin, calcium, creatine, and vitamin B & D all of which I take everyday in multiple forms. I would suggest we save our money and see a real doctor if we have concerns. Thankful I didn't spend the money on the more expensive ones where I have also read similar reviews.

I bought this product because I wanted to know if I had any sensitivities. I have some known food allergies and I knew I had some sensitivities and this test accurately confirms that. Something I found really interesting about the test though is that not only does it test food sensitivities it also tests for environmental and metal sensitivities as well as hormonal imbalances. I would highly recommend getting this product if you are interested in learning more about your sensitivities it is really cool to get the results and learn a little bit more about things you should avoid. I would say it took around 10 days to get the results which in my opinion seems like a pretty fast turnover.

I took this because I broke out in hives and was hoping it might provide some clarity or clues as to what caused it. The hives got worse for 2 weeks and have now steadily subsided. Still not totally gone but it appears to be clearing my system. The report came back stating that I am sensitive/allergic to almost every common food item in the world. Things I have been eating my whole life with no adverse reactions. Essentially I should only be consuming water according to this report. (allergic to all types of lettuce, eggs, milk, etc etc etc). It also came back that I am allergic to almost every common non-food allergen which indicates further its inaccuracy. Based on this report I should not be able to breathe and should have been living in a bubble since infancy. Last piece of evidence: Says I am 99% allergic to certain compounds found in milk and 99% deficient in Lactobacillus Reuteri (Sources: Milk products like yogurt and cheese). I love cheese, consume way too much probably and have a large bowl of yogurt every day. Have been doing this for years with no adverse reactions and even if the allergy result was accurate it would still mean I should at least NOT be deficient this compound since I consume so much of it...
