Easy to handle and sturdy

I’m writing this review during the “Texas ice age” - everything is iced over right now. Many without power, frozen pipes - no water, no gas, heat, etc. Its a scary time for many.I cannot be more grateful to have made this purchase a few months ago. The snow came, my pipes froze - and I didn’t stress for a minute about what I was going to do for water.The fact that these are 5 gal jugs is ideal. I was able to bring one in the house at a time and use as needed. I helped out a few neighbors with a 5 gal jug. These are so portable and so much easier to move around than a 50 gal drum.I bought 20 of these - worth it. Saved my family and a few other families from dehydration like a lot of other folks in Texas sadly experienced.These are very durable containers. The lids sealed tight. I rinsed the containers out before I filled them. Water was only a few months “old” - tasted fresh.Just make the purchase :) - the worst time to prepare for an emergency is during an emergency. These look like they should work well for my water storage needs and came recommended from a YouTuber I follow. They were easy to fill and do not appear to leak. The lids have a a ridged security locking mechanism that will break after a couple times of removing the lid due to cheap plastic design so it’s pointless. Thankfully it’s optional in my opinion because you can easily remove the ridge piece from the lid and it seals just fine. Strange design choice to even include the ridge locking mechanism.

These are built tough and will last years. I know because I’ve bough the same brand before and it’s held up just great.Safe - BPA-free etc. This isn’t cheap plastic that can off-gas or put your health at risk.Practical - these stack well and are perfectly sized for one person carry, which is critical for true survival gear.Highly recommended!

This is a good water storage system for camping or off-gridding.

like them so much i will buy more

for a while i was debating getting these or a cheaper version and i am confident i made the right decision buying these. They are heavy duty for sure and the stackable design is well implemented. The only thing i had to do when i bought these was drill a vent hole under the back cap and remove the ratcheting lid thing. im not sure what its called but they were easy enough to remove. The lids seal really well even when not tightened down super hard but with the included wrench, you can tighten them down as much as you want.
