2018 You 'Da Dad Daily Calendar

I bought this calendar for my brother who is a new dad and my husband who is about to be a new dad. I WAS SO DISAPPOINTED. I thought this calendar would give fathering advice and interesting facts about other fathers or fatherhood. What I got was a calendar that really has nothing at all to do with fatherhood. Moreover the random facts it provides are not even interesting. I am embarrassed that I gave this as a gift.

I purchased this for my husband as a Christmas gift from our children. I was a little hesitant, as I was worried it would be a little too "cheesy" for him. I'm sure he wasn't thrilled when he opened the gift (it is just a calendar) but within a couple of weeks I noticed that he would occasionally come home from work with a random tid-bit of information to share with the kids or have an idea of some family activity. The first few times I asked where he heard that or got that idea and he would say "from that calendar the kids got me for Christmas". So I am very glad that he does read it just about every day. It turns out it wasn't half as "cheesy" as I thought it would be. I will be ordering one every year for him. Highly recommend!

We really enjoy Familyman Ministries and have been encouraged by the calendar. We all read it every day and get a kick out of it or learn something from it.

I am a father of three and my dad gave me this calendar last year, I just finished the year. This is more than a calendar, it's daily guide to being a better father and a better husband. Yes, some of the humor can be corny, but smany days are also VERY deep and many of the tips offer GREAT ideas. I have a whole stack of days that I have kept throughout the year because they were meaningful to me. I have emailed some of the days to other fathers and will sometimes leave them around my office. The most powerful trait of the calendar is that it is a daily reminder of what is lasting and valuable in my life. Thanks Todd.

The Familyman calendar is chock full of great ideas and encouragement to help any Dad (or Grandpa, for that matter) take his fatherly role to the next level! I've been getting it every year for several years and it continues to be at the top of my list for Christmas '08! Unbeknownst to my wife, when I saw the box come in the mail with the Familyman return address label earlier this month, I did a silent-fisted "cha-ching", knowing my 2009 was secure and full of great ideas for being a great Dad!About the only thing missing from the Familyman calendar is that it won't be a great Dad for you ... you've got to take the ideas and let them inspire you to a new reality that your family will never regret!

I just purchased for my husband our third calendar. My kids and I have notes tucked up on our desks and in our drawers. My husband comes home from work and shares them with us. My husband says that it is full of things he thinks of doing but forgets. Or thinks of doing but it's too late. It also encourages him along the Dad journey. Todd Wilson the author is very real and candid with the dads. He makes mistakes too but encourages all that they can be the best dad they can be. I buy these for guys in the family too. Basicaly, it is page a day calendar that reminds guys of Valentine's Day, having kid days, to write notes to the wife and kids, and it is also full of funny facts. It is a must buy.
