Rating this one 3.5-stars because it deserves more than 3 but there is no option for 3.5. It does not have the appropriate cutouts for the Fire HD 8 Kids tablet. It is missing the cut outs for the speakers so the sound is muffled. It's not horribly muffled, but muffled nonetheless.

Easy to use and hold. However, there were no directions on how to insert the tablet into the case. After not being successful, I called a friend - and although her tablet is different from my Kindle Fire, she told me to bend the case.Finally got it on.

This case absolutely does not fit the 2018 fire HD 8 tablet!!! It's way too small. I'm so annoyed because I made sure to triple check it would fit my tablet. Don't buy!

We haven't gotten to use it yet as it's part of her Christmas gift but I did look/feel it & it seems to be of good quality, not that cheesy rubber that all kinds of things stick to, that's what I was worried about getting but it's not like that. My 5 year old daughter is rough on things so after she has had time to use it I will come back with an update but if I have to guess I'd say it will last. She loves cats as well & will love that it has that shape. I got it bc the handle on it would save me from having to buy a separate case bc I know she won't use it so this will keep it safe & gives her a handle to carry it all in one.

I bought this as a gift for my daughter for Christmas and it is adorable! More importantly, it is durable (we've already dropped it a few times) and the kickstands are great for handsfree viewing. I like that you can have it upright on the kickstands or more flat like a keyboard. The handle is also super convenient for carrying it around and in and out of the car. If something happens to it, I'll buy it again!

Nice firm foam, holds its shape well but provides a lot of impact protection. It was easy for a 3 year old to hold on to. It came with a black form in it, to maintain its shape while shipping; I thought the tablet would snap into the form and that there weren't cut outs for the ports and speaker like another reviewer said, but we pulled the plastic piece out and the tablet popped right in. Would buy again.

 I’m glad I chose this case. It fits my daughters amazon tablet like a glove. We have already dropped it down the steps outside and there are no signs of damage to the case or tablet. Sounds comes out perfect. No muffled sound.

So I got my daughter a fire hd 8 tablet for her to watch movies and play some games read some books and I was wondering what protection I can get for this tablet because kids they don’t think bout protecting there stuff they will drop it and you as a parent have the headache so I got this case it’s hard rubber it has to small stand in the back to fold out for the kids to watch movies or what ever they want and it has a handle to hold it like a bag and the drop and bag proof good so far no complaints from me as a dad or my wife so I recommend it not bad for the price it does it’s job so thanks for reading my review have a bless one
