I very surprised in the quality of this regulator. I weld and have a few regulators for welding gas. Nonr are as well built as this one. New to the planted aquarium hobby. This the first full sized purposed built CO² regulator for aquariums.A few key points I like:1. Packaging- a very over looked aspect in many items. No way was this thing getting damaged.2. Quality- as Fair as a visual inspection and feel test. This is a solid regulator.3. Knurled knob- love the knurled knob! Attention to detail4. Extra o-rings- great to have spares5. Spanner- this regulator comes with a wrench I think is made of some sort of steel covered in plastic. It pretty thick so you don't hurt your hands thighten done the regulator to the bottle.Just installed it with a kegco 5lb CO² bottle. Everything looks good so far. Will adjust score and review later if anything happens.

I have this regulator hooked up to a paintball tank with a CGA320 adapter and my Samsung Smarthings plug with Alexa. This thing is reliable and turns on\off with out any issue. I had an Aquatek that cost more $$$ and was just not reliable, as it would not turn off when it was supposed to. I changed the orientation of one of the gauges so I could read it upright when mounted on the paintball tank. The only thing I would improve is bigger gauges. One big plus is red indicator light on the solenoid when its one is a nice plus as it gives positive confirmation that the valve is open.

Had the regulator hooked up for less than 2 weeks. Everything worked fine and it was small and compact. Yesterday the solenoid failed to open when power was supplied to it. Unplugged the solenoid from the timer and plugged it back in and everything worked fine the rest of the evening. Skip ahead to 5 pm when I get home tonight. Walk by my tank and notice the co2 drop checker is dark blue again and there is a sound coming from under my tank. Look and my co2 tank is almost completely empty! The regulator randomly developed a leak today, between the regulator and the solenoid, while I was at work. I guess this is what I get for listening to the positive reviews and not the negative ones. This regulator is junk, DO NOT BUY!

Received the regulator and was initially impressed but when I attempted to use it with a timer the solenoid failed to restrict the co2 from flowing. Tested the timer on other appliances so I know the issue to be the regulator and not the timer.UPDATE: The solenoid appears to be functioning now. Tested the timer once again and the solenoid DID restrict the flow of co2 after about three seconds. Changed the rating from 1 star to 3 stars.UPDATE: Well the solenoid seems to have gone out again but the seller has reached out and offered to replace the defective regulator so I’ll update again when I test the replacement.FINAL UPDATE: Seller sent out a replacement regulator and it works like a charm. A+ for making it right.

I upgraded from a DIY system to this system. The kit works perfectly and fits your typical paintball tank. It comes with a wrench to help you to install it.Super easy to setup, no issue at all. I am using this for a 50 gallon tank and the gas lasts me about days. totally love this product. I run the C02 at a very low level-one bubble per second because I have a diverse community tank consisting of several fish that are finicky about water condition changes.

It leaked in front around the area were the w insignia is real bad but they are working with me on the problem thanks guys

I have a planted 3.5gal tank and when setting up a paintball tank CO2 system I figured this regulator would be worth a shot as it's half the price of other ones. I paired it with an aquatek paintball tank adapter, and a week in it has been great. The quality is impressive- nothing feels cheap or plasticky. As i have a small tank I've been using small amounts and its not at all difficult to adjust between 1 and 3 bubbles per second or 1 bubble every 2 or 3 seconds. I will update if anything goes wrong, but so far this has been a great purchase.

Regulator arrived when expected. It's was well packaged and also came with some spare washers and a wrench to tighten it. So far it's been good.It's on a 20 lb CO2 tank. I just used aquarium water for the bubble counter. Bubble counter is a little finicky, it's very easy to overshoot the wanted bubbles, but it's a minor inconvenience for the price.The solenoid is great. I have it connected to a timer and so far it's been good. It has a small light that indicates when it's on. I've read from other regulators with solenoids that sometimes they run hot. So far I haven't had that happen.Overall I'm satisfied with my purchase. Reason for four stars is that it hasn't been running long enough to mess around with it too much. I'll update the review as necessary.

This product was very easy to set up. Seems like a well built product but I have been trying to get ahold of the company to see why the pressure gauge on the left, not the tank pressure climbs so high when the solenoid is off( it goes in the red well above what it should). I don’t want to return it but if they don’t get back to me I will have too. It is know in the red. I am worried it is going to let go. The company has not got back to me on my last comment. Hopefully they will. As well there is an Allen key in the box which I do not know what it is used for. Other than that when it is on the pressure stays around 50psi. I believe it should be around 30. Hopefully they will let me know how I can fix it.

I purchased this regulator and it works fantastic. The small dial makes it easy to get the exact flow you need and once you have it hooked up to a timer, using it in a planted aquarium for Co2, this is a great value!Unfortunately, after a couple months, the solenoid started sticking and no amount of tapping it or turning it off and on again as suggested, would correct this.I contacted FZone and they replied within an hour and stated that even though my return window had been closed for a month, they stand behind all of their products. They very quickly sent out a complete replacement regulator including solenoid.They offer fantastic customer service and I would happily purchase from them in the future with the utmost confidence!

This gauge is a colossal fail...1rst it doesn't fit the tank adapter...it has reverse threads where the adapter screws in...2nd the needle inside the low pressure gauge just fell off for no reason and 3rd and most important...the solenoid wouldn't open...it was well within the safe pressure range and was making a loud buzzing sound...I removed the gauge from the bottle and plugged it in again and still buzzing and then the face cap on the gauge exploded off the gauge and almost hit me(was a huge pressure buildup inside the gauge)...not just defective but dangerous... a poorly designed piece of crap...obviously returning this piece of garbage
