BEWARE: This Spider Bites!
I am all for cheap exploitation of marketable trinkets and nonsense - doubly so if it is targeted directly at children, and this is why I was overjoyed to buy this product for my son. Thanks, MARVEL!To begin with, the games are of an extremely dubious quality. The controls are nonresponsive, and - best of all - if you are a bit chubby (like me), you will be dead of a heart attack before being forced to play too much of the game.That said, I give it two stars. ONE for merely existing. I mean - really - someone took the time to design it. They deserve at least one star. Let's be fair.The second star is awarded for tiring my son out. After about 10 minutes of hopping around like sugar-filled grasshopper with his feet on fire, he was so pooped that he took a nap - giving me and the wife some 'alone time'. Meow! They DEFINITELY get one star for that.Other than that, my son is now bored with it, and I don't see anyone in our house using this product EVER again. That's too bad.If I don't tape the Spider-Mat to my son's wall to make a goofy poster, the only wall crawling action THIS Spider-Man game will see is on the inside of one of my dusty closets until the next garage sale.
