Argento2 Aviator Sunglasses

Goods: I love these. They are extremely clear, distortion-free, lightweight, and there is no frame to interfere with peripheral vision. They are not too dark which works well in the cockpit where you still need to read displays inside, while reducing glare from outside. A good quality case and bag are included. I should also mention I am 6' 3" with a noggin to match and these fit well.Other-than-goods: The only downside is that one of the screws came out within a week or two and I had to replace it with a drug-store repair kit screw. Now I have a slightly off color and slightly over-length screw in place. I expect more for the price.Other notes: If you are a pilot or otherwise plan to wear these under a headset, the thin spring steel sides are very comfortable, but are a little flimsy if you try to put them on while wearing your headset. You'll need two hands or to briefly remove your headset. (I'll take that over big, stiff bayonet sides that interfere with noise-cancelling and fit of the earpieces.Overall, I expect to use these a very long time. I love them.

I had one pair and the "spring steel" temple snapped off. Vedalo provided a replacement and a year later the same thing happened to the replacement pair. They are NOT using spring steel because spring steel would not just snap off.

Use these while flying Saabsonic around VA and WV. These glasses do a great job. Really effective while your trying to spot other aircraft through the haze. Love 'em. Live on SaabNation.
