Lighter worked great, and the flexible end is a terrific idea. However, 2nd time plugging it into the charger, it pushed the female end into the lighter so I can no longer plug it in... I can hear it rattling around in there, and no way to open it to fix. So after 2nd charge is gone, it goes from great idea to expensive disposable lighter. Very disappointed; when it worked, it was just what I needed.

This would be nice if he could hold a charge. It takes a good hour to charge it up completely, and then it’s really cool to watch it light things. But when you turn it off and put it in the drawer it’s slowly loses charge over the next several weeks so the next time you pull it out to use it it’s dead. If you ever needed to pull this out in a black out or something you would be very disappointed. You almost need to leave it on the charger all the time. It’s a good concept but a poor battery

Simple to use, very SAFE, convenient, super long battery life, and it's rechargeable! I originally purchased this to light candles. I've since tried it on anything that needed a lighter /match. It's amazing and is my go to favorite. It has a little bit of weight which feels secure and comfortable in my hand, and is easy to use. I have weak and painful hands/wrists and this lighter doesn't affect them at all.

I bought this expecting it to last for at least a couple of years, but it broke after charging it only three times. It only held a charge for about 5 uses anyway. I would not recommend this product at all.Update: After I left the review above, I was contacted by the company through my personal email to change my review to "5 stars" in exchange for "$20 via Paypal." I ignored the sender and reported this to Amazon. It makes me wonder how many of these positive reviews are genuine...

Worked great first three charging times. Last charging time, the connectors refused to make a single arc, much less click. Tool was treated like a baby too, pristine condition. Don't waste your money. Would be great if built properly and thoroughly tested and guaranteed for five years or use.

This electric lighter is pretty cool and does the job when lighting candles or the pilot light on the stove. It's also more environmentally friendly and cost-effective than the disposable butane lighters I was buying regularly at the dollar store. The one design flaw is that there is no warning to charge the battery before it completely runs out--it just keeps working until it's no longer working and needs to be charged. The blue indicator light that turns on when you press the lighter button and shows you when the battery is fully charged should also blink or turn red to warn when the battery is low. I like this so much I am thinking about buying a second one which will eliminate my charging problem and ensure I always have a lighter that works. Highly recommended.

This light is way better than a "traditional" lighter. First is is rechargeable, which makes it perfect for travel or camping. You never need to worrying about it running out of juice. It charges quick and longs a really long time. I also like how you can mold and turn the stick part at the top, which is perfect for getting in the grill with you need it. Amazing price, you can't go wrong.

As some other reviews said, it stopped working after the third charge! Everywhere on this page it says to contact them since it is guaranteed for 1 year but there's no email address or anything. So yes, I guess I'll wait until they contact me after this review to fix the issue.
