I was able to mount 3 TVs on wall and fish wires through the wall using this device. It worked 100% the way it should for each use to find studs. Read the manual before using - the device best works when you initialize before usage. I have taken a point off for its detection on electric wires. I was not successful in finding wires with success - so you may want to be careful using this feature.

first I paid full price for it and it works like my 60 dollar scanner, well made accurate used yesterday to hang four shelvesand it found all 8 Studs accurately also discovered the wiring inside the wall. it is cheaper than the magnetic one !!! I think using any stud scanner depend on the user: always calibrate before each use and a fresh battery is a must and patient all will give a good result I do recommend this product it is similar to the products sold at 5 or 6 times this price

Like most stud-finders it sounded off when it shouldn’t have done so and was fairly inaccurate. I keep trying, and should just stop. These suckers are sold to suckers like me!

This thing works as good as my $30 finders have if not better. You have to hold the side button and wait for it to determine the thickness then move it. Takes just a few seconds. Just mentioning because at first I thought it was broken.

Works great for low price. Finds wood studs in wall easily.

Doesn’t work good it did not show us where the studs were we had to end up putting boards on our wall in order to put our tv up.

Practical tool. Great upgrade from the basic.
