Love it easy to use and safe too!

I bought this specifically for slicing veggies thin for the grill. They come out perfect and it’s very easy to use. I love that it’s dishwasher safe too.

I love the handle and easy to clean nature. I can’t recommend it since it’s too narrow to slice onions and there is a lip at the end of the mandolin. That little lip stops you from slicing. It stops the veggie you are slicing but your hand and the guard keep going. This causes the veggies to fall off the guard. I spent a lot of time putting the veggies back on the guard. It was annoying. If it was just a little longer, it would be great.

I was very excited to receive this product. The shipping was quick. As soon as it arrived, I was eager to try it. I washed it and grabbed the closest produce to me, which was a tomato. I used the little part that grips the fruit/vegetable and latched it in. I gave it a couple of test slices and the tomato immediately fell away and I sliced off a chunk of my thumb. I’m not sure if I chose the wrong product but it did not grip well at all. The blade is very sharp. Debating on returning.

It is great. It is sharp. It is safe. It is practical. Easy to clean.
