Magnets. How do they work?

you put them in the wash tub.  my tub is metal so they are on opposite sides of the tub  if your tub is plastic they will stick together.  either way they work.  for me they have been a  life saver.  i had a horrible red rash all over my legs that was only getting worse all the time.  as soon as i started using the magnetic laundry system the rash went away.  it was a miracle.  i have not had any trouble with my skin since then.  needless to say ,  i am a big fan of the magnets.  i would never go back to laundry detergent.  i was using the perfume free kind but it didn't help.  rhoda lipton

How would these sanitize your laundry?

Laundry detergent is not used to kill microorganisms, and neither is the Laundry System, but the cleaning process itself washes away most bacteria. However, hot water will kill most microorganisms in the water.  An extremely effective natural alternative: It has been reported that a straight 5 percent solution of vinegar kills 99% of bacteria, 82% of mold, and 80% of germs (viruses).  Laundry detergent pollutes the environment.  With the magnetic laundry system, there are no chemical residues and is hypo-allergenic.  Hope that helps.

What strength is the magnet?

As far as an actual Gauss rating- none is given in the packaging.   I’ll tell you they are very magnetic for their size and stick hard to the washer run as well as one another. It takes some effort to move them.  As far as how well they work to clean- reasonably well, but not perfectly.  Cannot use them alone with my gym clothes, but for the daily minimally soiled laundry, they work ok.

how long do these last before needing to be replaced? I do 2 loads a week

I do maybe 6 loads a week and have no problem with them. Like new. Think I got them Dec 2016 or Jan 2017.  Even took them traveling. Allergic to detergents
