Awkward: Season 3

I don’t care how cringy, this show gives me such awkward nostalgia and I’m 100% here for it. In my collection, it goes.

Awkward is a fine little high school series with lots of clever anecdotes and exchanges in which girls learn they don't need boys and mean girls are strophes. Racial and gender stereotypes are played with casual egalitarian humor, if you're not overly sensitive, and the modern dilemma of who're the kids and who're the adults is more apt than Mean Girls' backwards grownup bullying masked as teenage bullying. Desi Lydic is the New Age counselor who needs counseling and Anthony Michael Hall is the burnout sage you'd expect from a middle-aged Breakfast Clubber who's seen too many '80s, '90s, and now 2000s failures, amid the many outstanding caricature-characterizations. Seasons 1-3 are still boy-girl, but the last seasons unfold what is hopefully a new world beyond Sex and the City's dismal you gotta-gotta-gotta-have-a-man message.

This is a fun look at life in HS.

I gave this as a gift to my niece for her birthday. She loved it. Had it finished by the second day.

Awkward: Season 3 was definitely worth the buy. I loved it and the entire time I was yelling at Jenna for being so stupid, but if you really just step away from the situation for a minute, you see that this show is so true to life! Awkward is a show I recommend frequently to my fellow TV viewers. It honestly has what teenagers want and can also certainly be an interesting show for adults, as after season 4, Jenna is in University. It is fast paced and is very easy to watch, with each episode only being 20 minutes. Full of laughs, it also teaches some important life lessons.

Arrived in less than 48 hrs and in perfect condition. Unfortunately we couldn't stop watching it and finished the season in a day lol. Love this show

A great end to the series. Even if it isn't technically the end. If you're considering starting the series I would recommend you stop watching here. The creator left the show at the end of this season, but the season finale is done in such a way that it acts as the perfect series finale on it's own.

AWFUL one of the discs didnt even work they were all mixed up!!
